“I called this place reluctantly late last night because it was my only real option at 9:30 pm (they close by 10)….i had tried it years ago and didn’t think it was very good. Well, last night they proved themselves lol! I ordered house fried rice and bone in spare ribs. Not only did they serve me with a smile and seem happy to be there still, I’m sure it had been a long day..the food was piping hot and so fresh! I was definitely expecting less ten minutes prior to closing! The rice had a little of everything and was so good! The pork pieces weren’t all fatty trimmings like most places. This was actual chunks of pork with very little to no fat. Little shrimps and chicken…so so good. I couldn’t stop eating it. The ribs were cooked to perfection, meaty, and so tasty I was licking my fingers and the bones haha! Best ribs I’ve had anywhere! The price was good too! I will definitely be back!“

“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.“

“Used to live in Boston, and we just stumbled into here on vacation. The bartender knew all of the history of the place telling us how it was a speakeasy, and even went downstairs to take a couple pictures for us. My new favorite bar, but I live in San Diego now. I will go back next year. Although it was tucked away on a side street, I will find it easily. I wish I could remember our bartenders name he was GREAT ! The night of September 16th 2025 .“

“Overall had a great experience staff was friendly, food was good and fresh. I got the namesake but wanted chicken instead staff assured me that they can make it happen which i thought was very accommodating since i was able to have my sandwhich the way i wanted. Sandwhich overall was really good bread was crispy but soft and all of the veggies and stuff gave it a very fresh crisp taste, the sandwhich was very filling and good. The atmosphere was great they had both indoor and outdoor seating next the the beer garden perfect spot for lunch and a light drink.“

Highly recommend the lemongrass beef sandwich 😋 easily customizable too on ordering screens (+/- and more or less of mayo, pâté, jalapeños, veggies on the side, etc) the service is always really friendly as well. Not many places where $9 gets you food like this nowadays!“
