“We found Catering by Terrie while searching for local caterers for our unexpectedly rushed wedding. Most catering companies declined the request as the wedding was planned for less than two months away. Terrie not only agreed to work within the limited schedule, but also adapted some of the dishes from her catering menu to accommodate some of our guests with restrictions. Terrie’s team was punctual, polite, and professional. The food was fantastic, and by the end of the evening all the guests were well-fed. Many compliments were received on the charcuterie board, curry noodle bowls, coconut shrimp, chicken parmesan sliders, and many others. Set-up and take-down also went without a hitch. With all of the headache and stress that went into a wedding planned on such short notice, Terrie and her team graciously handled one of the biggest aspects, and helped to make the day as perfect as we could have hoped.“

“We cannot thank enough Jonathan Dunn and his crew from Lavishly Dunn for putting together such an amazing menu to celebrate my 50th birthday with 100 guests. Everything was delicious!! We had for the cocktail hour the sushi station, the grilled flatbread pizzas and the charcuterie board. Then for the main course we had a mixed green salad, the taco bar and the wagyu beef petite burgers. And to conclude, we had for dessert the fun donut bar and the fresh fruit salad.
Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our guests kept complimenting the food. Every member of the team that came that day was so kind and professional. They took care of everything so we could enjoy the party.

“We had a wonderful time with Chef Jason! We were impressed from start to finish. He was professional and a good human. He had menu selection google meet up w/me prior to my husband's birthday surprise as well as a kitchen walk through to make sure I had all the necessary equipment. Anything I did not have, he offered to bring. The food was delicious, each course built on one another and left us wanting more. Anything we did not eat was packaged up so there was no food waste, which I really appreciated. Leftovers heated up nicely as well. What I loved about this was it was a total surprise to my husband and he kept saying how he never would have gotten this experience and felt this special in a restaurant. Chef Jason made that happen. For the quality of food and professionalism, I thought the price tag was fair and well worth it. I can't say enough good things about this experience and loved working with Chef J! I hope to book another dinner with him in the future!

First, Kathleen is outstanding at her job. She doesn't miss a beat while she covers every detail to perfection. And she's an incredibly nice person too! I've never had such creative food for my events -- truly a Roaming Burrata Bar with the most engaging server pulling the crowd in to try! Not only was it clever, it was delicious, different and exciting. At the end of the day I know Boston has great caterers, but honestly why would I go anywhere else? They were very flexible with allowing us to arrive early in the day to decorate the hall : once for a wedding reception and another time for a baby shower. The menu for both occasions was very flexible and the quality of the food was really great. But as good as all that was , the staff was amazing. They were always available, polite, efficient, and responsive to our needs/wants. We will always use Smith’s Catering for all of our forthcoming events.
