“We found Catering by Terrie while searching for local caterers for our unexpectedly rushed wedding. Most catering companies declined the request as the wedding was planned for less than two months away. Terrie not only agreed to work within the limited schedule, but also adapted some of the dishes from her catering menu to accommodate some of our guests with restrictions. Terrie’s team was punctual, polite, and professional. The food was fantastic, and by the end of the evening all the guests were well-fed. Many compliments were received on the charcuterie board, curry noodle bowls, coconut shrimp, chicken parmesan sliders, and many others. Set-up and take-down also went without a hitch. With all of the headache and stress that went into a wedding planned on such short notice, Terrie and her team graciously handled one of the biggest aspects, and helped to make the day as perfect as we could have hoped.“

“TCA was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We booked them early in the planning process, at the same time as our venue. When our venue decided to not honor their contract with us in favor of taking on a bigger, more lucrative wedding, TCA stepped up and immediately helped us find an alternate venue. Their guidance and support through that process was invaluable and made an incredibly upsetting situation much easier. We just had our wedding a few weeks ago, and our guests are still RAVING about the food, the bar service and the quality of the service overall. We opted to do more of a cocktail party style wedding, with passed apps, followed by small plates without assigned seating. We were a bit nervous about the plan since its different from a typical seated dinner, but TCA helped us execute the plan perfectly. The food was outstanding - everything tasted fresh, seasonal, and like it was right out of the kitchen. They were amazing about catering to specific dietary needs and ensured everyone had plenty of options. We had a specific individual from their server team who was assigned to us all night, and she was amazing about checking on us and making sure we always had drinks in our hands and that we got to eat all of the delicious food. They also gave us tons of food to take home and our freezer is stocked with leftovers that we can't wait to eat. We HIGHLY recommend TCA - their delicious food and outstanding service is worth EVERY penny!!“

They were very flexible with allowing us to arrive early in the day to decorate the hall : once for a wedding reception and another time for a baby shower. The menu for both occasions was very flexible and the quality of the food was really great. But as good as all that was , the staff was amazing. They were always available, polite, efficient, and responsive to our needs/wants. We will always use Smith’s Catering for all of our forthcoming events.

“Happy to provide 5+ stars for East meets West. They catered a planned outdoor wedding which shifted due to weather less than 24 hours before to an indoor event. Catherine as event planner is so expert! She worked w the bride and groom and guided them to optimal choices. She was always available, very flexible, and very resourceful. The food was spectacular! We keep hearing “best food ever” from our guests. Even after pre dinner activities went beyond allotted time, the food was delivered hot, perfectly done (filet and salmon) and creatively plated. The service was consistently excellent! Very attentive to the bride and groom and every guest. They went over and above at every chance. We have recommended them several times since the fall wedding. Each time the food was raved about and what was ordered varied from pastries, salads, pizza, pasta dishes to chicken and sausage platters. “Most don't realize that anyone can eat here. This is a true gem of a cafeteria in the basement of the BU Med student bldg. They serve incredibly great fresh Falafel based dishes and other Mediterranean faire including several vegan options. Absolutely scrumptious. They have a grill with standard various types of burger & fries including delicious vegan burgers. They usually have a variety of fresh soups that includes at least a vegan option. Huge selection of cold drinks in an extensive fridge wall. Anyone can eat here while they are open, but it seems mostly only BMC or BU staff and students are present. Their prices are incredibly affordable and a great value for large satisfying portions.“
