They serve a variety of Haitian savory and sweet treats which are bound to satisfy any craving. The interior is pretty small so definitely more of a grab-and-go spot, but felt clean and homey. We got a patty and a cake to share, both of which were pretty delicious! The patty took a bit of time to heat up, but other than that, service was pretty solid. The price wasn't too bad, albeit a bit on the pricier side, and overall, I wouldn't mind coming back to some of their other selections in the future. For a local bakery, definitely worth visiting and supporting!“

However, after eating one of the enormous, not too sweet, not too salty cookies; I realized that these cookies were miles beyond their competitors. They were thick, full of mini m&ms, slightly crunchy at the edges, perfectly cooked: yum. It's more of an experience than a cookie. In conclusion, the items at Sweet Spot are worth every penny.“

“I have tried many of and love all their freshly-baked bread products. Breads (sourdough, whole wheat, challah and others), baguettes, and bagels. And they sell related products like maple syrup, etc.IMO one secret advantage they have is that they are a sourdough bakery. A co-owner told me during my last visit that not just their sourdough bread, but also their whole wheat, cinnamon swirl, and others are sourdough (no sourdough baguettes yet).FYI, sourdough bread acts as a prebiotic, which means that the fiber in the bread helps feed the “good” bacteria in your intestines. These bacteria are important for maintaining a stable, healthy digestive system. Sourdough is also lower in gluten than other forms of bread.“

We discovered it soon after moving to the neighborhood and always loved it: amazing pastries, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and always lovely service.But mostly I came to preach about their custom orders because this month, Danish Pastry House also starred in our wedding weekend twice - first we got a generous and extremely well-priced box of perfect, fresh, flaky pastries for our welcome brunch, and second we got FOUR different cakes for our reception for less than half the price of the cheapest "wedding cake" we looked at. For reference, we got 2 8-inch and 2 10-inch cakes and had many, many, many leftovers from our little 40-person reception, all for a little over $200. We called both orders in and picked them up in-store; super easy.The cakes were so, so good. We had an Othello (yum), a Sachertorte (yum), a Carrot Cake (I thought this would be the least thrilling, but it must have been delicious because it was the only cake that disappeared completely without me getting a bite), and a Passionfruit cake (I'm a chocolate person and wasn't overly excited about this one, but I think that it was probably the best cake I've ever had - it was SO light and tangy, creamy and moist and just absolutely addictive). I spent half the morning after my wedding eating leftover passionfruit cake with a spoon! There are photos of my niece refusing to take another step because she just wants to sit on the floor and finish her cake (pictured here, and I don't blame her)! I lost count of the number of guests who told me it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had! They were that good.I have yet to try anything from this bakery that isn't scrumptious, and I have been consistently happy about the quality and quantity you get for their prices, both in-store and custom orders.“

“Elizabeth bakes one of the best cakes I've ever had in my life. Our wedding was almost 2 years ago and we still think about the cake frome time to time. The cake not only did it taste good, but it also looked amazing. She incorporated elements from our wedding, talked to our florist, and baked the most delicious cake. I remember asking to have the passionfruit flavor in the cake a little bit stronger as I like bold flavors, and she delivered just that. “I recommend nothing after seeing how terribly they treated a customer this afternoon at the medford sq location. guy came in to pickup pre-ordered cake that was paid for. he was told they didn't have the cake. no apology, no offer deliver cake in the morning.....NOTHING. THE customer finally asked for the only 2 cakes left which were much smaller than cake ordered. he wanted happy birthday written on the cakes and was told it couldn't be done....not sure why. 30 minutes before closing time. the beaten down guy said...I'll take those 2 cakes in replace of the cake I ordered that you failed to make.
