“We were visiting from Philly and made a stop here to do our yearly ginger shots. That’s our thing. New year, same ritual. Clean start, no excuses.

The immune booster smoothie was an easy yes. Deep in color, bold without being harsh, and balanced in a way that tells you real ingredients are doing the heavy lifting. The red beet powder gives it that earthy backbone that feels purposeful. This wasn’t made to be flashy. It was made to work.

We also grabbed the cheese bread, which I fully intended to photograph… but it didn’t survive long enough. Warm, comforting, and exactly what it should be. Sometimes the best review is an empty plate.

What really stuck with us though was the story behind the place. Hearing how Crush came to be made the experience hit deeper. You can feel the heart in what they’re doing. This isn’t just a juice shop. It’s personal. And that intention shows up in every sip.

If we lived closer, this would be part of our routine without question. Until then, it’s a spot we’ll remember and return to whenever we’re back in town.

“Passing through Dorchester last year, I discovered a hidden gem. I’ve been to Love Health Café three times, and every visit has been a pleasure so far. The team here is consistently warm and customer service oriented—they always listen and ensure my order is exactly as requested. As someone who pays close attention to food safety and cleanliness (cutting bananas with bare hands is a NO-NO for me and trying to save on the cost of gloves while navigating food and money is a definite NO NO, so please don’t change!).

I’m pleased to see handwashing and clean practices in action; quality and care are evident throughout my experience. I was intentional about waiting to do this review, and I’m always willing to update as needed.

Love Health Café offers “Mmmm 😋😋” dairy-free options, and the food truly stands out—freshly made, flavorful, and so far, satisfying. The price points are very fair compared to other chains, especially considering everything is prepared to order. Meeting the founders was a wonderful bonus (featured in the pictures); they’re an engaging couple committed to health and good service.

“Obsessed with their smoothies. I’m a loyal customer who frequently visits. The major issue I have is they are unwilling to share the nutritional value of the smoothies. I track my macros and calories and have done my own back end assumptions based on what I order but it would be really helpful if they provided the facts. I’ve asked several times and I get different answers on the amount of protein fat etc as a health food shop they should provide this. Again the food itself is excellent. I got 3 different types of the onigiri (Kani, Shrimp tempura, and baked salmon) and they were all fresh and delicious. I started with shrimp tempura and it was so good I went back for the other two.
