“Went for a coffee ended up having some good food and coffee. Really nice place..i did not know how i missed this cafe. Enjoyed hot cremeburlee mocha and egg cheese potato wrap, chicken sandwich..

And also kiosk order machine which is super convenient and easy to place the order. Food came out quick ,dine-in they bring it to your table. Staff are quick and polite. Spotted few small flies probably they can deal with them somehow so only i reduced a star for atmosphere. Otherwise clean place good variety of options in food. Plenty of searing indoor and patio also parking available good for all age groups and any dietary restrictions. Seen vegan & gluten free options. Will visit again 🤍“

Was just traveling through Salem on vacation in September & glad I found this place. Highly recommend. Immediately upon entering, not only was she warm and helpful but also invested in making a customer connection that mattered, showing an genuine interest in getting to know me and what brought me in to Nero for my morning. As a former barista (few years back), I know firsthand the talent and skill that goes into multitasking beverage crafting and keeping a conversation going with the individual you're helping and this, I believe, is Katie's superpower. No issues with my order, never forgot the small substations (soy milk, extra sweet), and got it to me faster than I ever had at a Nero to boot! A+ service, A+ food and drink. Will definitely be coming back to this location.“

“The person serving us on a line was impressively adept and efficient, while being quite friendly to everyone He turned out to be the manager. I was looking for dessert, but on the kiosk, under bakeries Nero wasn’t listed, in fact, hardly a thing was, so I planned to go without until I stumbled upon Nero on my way out. They bake fresh every day. It’s a very comfortable and relaxingenvironment and as noted above excellent service. He was serving an outrageous range of coffee, specialties, and the bakery goods looked carefully crafted. The chocolate cake was quite delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.“

“I came here on my work break and was pleasantly surprised by just how lovely this store is. I don’t typically leave reviews, but my experience here serves as the exception. The food was incredibly cheap. I ordered two snack rolls thinking they would be small. I was wrong. One alone is a meal. Everything I had was delicious. By far, however, the highlight of my experience was my server. The girl with the orange hair was attentive, kind, and suggested the menu items I tried. “I ordered a Power Boost bowl through DoorDash and overall the bowl itself was delicious. Upon receiving it, I discovered it contained walnuts (which I have an allergy to) and the ingredient info on DoorDash did not list walnuts. I reached out to the store and they immediately updated the ingredient info and offered to remake the bowl, which I really appreciated.

After looking into this further, my bigger concern is with DoorDash. There is currently no option during the ordering process to list a food allergy or request an ingredient be removed. The only note option available relates to substitutions if an item is unavailable, not allergy information.

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, I would highly recommend ordering directly through the store rather than through DoorDash so you can communicate those concerns directly and the restaurant can handle them accordingly because the bowl itself is absolutely worth trying!“

I track my macros and calories and have done my own back end assumptions based on what I order but it would be really helpful if they provided the facts. “Highly recommend Professor’s catering! Decided to have them make the food for a post wedding brunch I co-hosted in April. Best decision ever! Guests raved about the food! Then in June, I needed a last minute gluten free entree, and the team put together a beautifully garnished pan of gluten free roasted chicken that was delicious. Love their grab and go prepared foods case, too! 10 out of 10!“

“Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.“

“Had the best chicharrón of my life here months ago. As soon as I spotted them glistening on display, I knew I had to order. Crispy skin, juicy meat, perfectly seasoned. The pork fat was rendered just enough so the remaining fat had a firmer, almost meaty bite instead of melting away. It was one of those rare, stop-you-in-your-tracks moments.

Unfortunately, when I came back a few months later, they were just… ordinary. No more juiciness, just dry chunks sitting out on display. Maybe it’s a timing thing—you probably have to show up early morning to catch Colombian chicharrón at its best. The rest of that plate (sausage, rice, beans) was fine, though the beef was on the tough, dry side.

On my most recent visit, I tried the beef empanada and carne asada. The empanada was decent, but clearly not fried to order—still edible, but not something I’d go out of my way for. The carne asada, however, was one of the best I’ve had in the area: thick cut, fat cap rendered just enough to bring flavor without grease, and seasoned spot-on. My only gripe was the side—fries instead of rice, which pushed the whole plate into salty-overload territory. Fries were great, but rice would’ve balanced it better.“
