“Very happy with the experience at this location, I just finished a walk around the lake in Wakefield with my wife and baby. Ray greeted us as we walked in and we both decided on the mango monsoon. As we were leaving, Ray took the small amount left in the blender and put it in a cup with a spoon for the baby. It was a really nice gesture that you don’t see often anymore. Small wonder it took me a while to down my own smoothie, avocolada, which I unwittingly carried to the perfect table at which to drank it down: a large graphic of a partly peeled avocado hanging over my chair. Awesome pricing and service, mellow background music, the works!“

“I love the staff here and I love what they do for the community. I get this is Newbury street, I do.

But the prices here are insane. It's like $12 for a 16ounce. And more ($15) for other drinks at the same size!!!!

I've helped family members setup smoothie shops on Seattle in the past and we usually do $10 for 24ounces at least.

I understand the economy is bad but not every patron on Newbury street has old Boston back bay money.

I think if they decrease prices by a $1.50, they can be supremely successful with more customer traffic.“

The food and drinks were sooo delicious. 😋 I had the Bom Dia breakfast sandwich, while my friend ordered the Greek breakfast sandwich. We also tried a couple of iced coffees and the gut-healing juice, everything was amazing! The staff were also very friendly. I’ll be back!“

“I ordered the waterworks juice which has beet juice and carrot juice, etc. It was fine. Priced about the same as any other juice shop, which is expensive. I also ordered the avocado toast, which was pretty much guacamole spread on toast. I got it on the sourdough bread which was nice and fresh. It tasted fine. Definitely overpriced at eight dollars for a slice of bread with some guacamole on it. Once again, the pricing is aligned with most other shops, but everything cost outrageous prices nowadays. I probably won’t go here again just because who the heck can afford eating out. It just seems everyone price gouges no matter where you go. You’ve got the money to spare. They do make a nice juice.“

“When you enter it’s a very nice vibe with good music, clean environment, window seating and a warm greeting. Healthy food menu options. I Placed an order for two chicken patties, as well as a milk shake. The restaurant also offer other patties like fish, and so on. Note often times if you want a certain quantity of patties you may want to call ahead to place an order as these patties are made there so they may not have what you’re looking for if you do not place an order in advance, or they may have a small quantity less than you would have wanted. The patties happen to be my fav, they are so tasty and pleasing to the eye, however there is a wider variety of food options. The milkshake I ordered was cookie dough and it was beautiful, and tasty, perfect consistency not too thick, not too sweet, just perfect. I think the prices are great for today’s economy or market. I will definitely return. Thank you for your service.“

“We had a truly delightful experience at Pomona Cafe. The service was lovely, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was so inviting and comfortable. The place has been lovingly remodeled and it feels like somewhere else. The handcrafted woodwork is beautiful and the high ceilings and large windows make the space feel airy and calm. The mussels and gambas (shrimp) were both beautifully cooked and we could have dunked a loaf of bread in each sauce. The salmon was bright and beautifully paired with perfectly cooked asparagus and spinach , the bolognese was also very good as well as the chicken limon. We shared a delicious and not-too-sweet pistachio cheesecake dessert that was very satisfying. The ONLY possible negative would be the bread. All of those delicious sauces need a worthy vehicle! We will definitely be going back.“

“I ordered a Power Boost bowl through DoorDash and overall the bowl itself was delicious. Upon receiving it, I discovered it contained walnuts (which I have an allergy to) and the ingredient info on DoorDash did not list walnuts. I reached out to the store and they immediately updated the ingredient info and offered to remake the bowl, which I really appreciated.

After looking into this further, my bigger concern is with DoorDash. There is currently no option during the ordering process to list a food allergy or request an ingredient be removed. The only note option available relates to substitutions if an item is unavailable, not allergy information.

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, I would highly recommend ordering directly through the store rather than through DoorDash so you can communicate those concerns directly and the restaurant can handle them accordingly because the bowl itself is absolutely worth trying!“

“I always stop by when I’m in Back Bay station to take an Amtrak, etc. They have great fresh juices packaged to go and wonderful muffins, açaí bowls, avocado toast, empanadas, cookies and other delicious items. Everything is truly delicious and top-notch. The team there doesn’t speak much English, but they are so friendly it doesn’t matter. The only other option in the station is a Dunkin’ Donuts that I heard had major problems with rodents. Check out Jugos. It’s a real find and will become a go to place for you in this area.“
