“Wheeeeere to begin! A cute little establishment in a little plaza. Upon entering the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu is bright and bold so there is not trouble reading it. Came in with my husband before we got ice cream to grab some buffalo wings. Sooooooooo glad I did! Them suckers were so dang good make you wanna smack ya mama! I’m known for my reviews taking a bite and this one won’t be different. We drove 45 minutes for some ice cream and ended up finding a little piece of BUFFALO HEAVEN“

“Hidden gem. Everything has so much flavor. Chicken biryani is packed with flavor, hands down the best samosas I’ve tried, and butter chicken sauce is so rich in flavor. For dessert, I recommend the gulab jamun, it is so good. The waiter was awesome and attentive. Will definitely go back.“

Over that time, I’ve become very aware of the differences in ingredients and food quality between Europe and the U.S. When I come back each year to visit family, I often find that a lot of American food leaves me feeling bloated and uncomfortable, likely due to additives, dyes, and lower-quality ingredients that I’m no longer used to.

Blue Moon Bagel Cafe is the one wonderful exception.

I’ve been coming here since high school, and it’s the place I genuinely look forward to eating when I’m back in town. I truly trust their ingredients: the food tastes fresh, clean, and well made, and it doesn’t leave me with that heavy, uncomfortable feeling I get elsewhere. The sandwiches are delicious, everything feels thoughtfully prepared, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Prices are also quite reasonable for the area, especially considering current inflation in the US.

I’ll admit that some of the desserts are total sugar bombs—but that’s probably just my now very European palate talking! For those who love a sweet treat, they’re clearly doing something right.

All in all, Blue Moon Bagel Cafe is a real gem in Medfield. I’m grateful it’s still here and always make a point to visit when I’m back about once a year. Thank you for staying true to quality and consistency all these years.“

“Thai Thani is hands down the best local Thai restaurant in the Norwood area. I've tried other Thai restaurants close by, and Thai Thani is the definitely the best! Their portion sizes are extremely generous and the food is always hot and fresh. The lunch specials are great and anytime I've gotten dinner from there, I always have plenty of leftovers for the next day. The owners are great and are fantastic chefs! My go to is the Tofu Massaman Curry, but their Pad Thai is amazing too! I would highly recommend Thai Thani to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. You will not be disappointed!“

They’re generous in portions, the food is always delicious, fairly priced (not expensive) and the wait time is usually short. “We were the first wedding Sol de Mexico had ever catered. We were also the first event of 140 people they had ever served. They did absolutely amazing! Everyone loved the buffet style food they provided, and services of cleaning, filling water, and serving the food! The staff was friendly and helpful. Brenda, the manager, was amazing throughout the whole process! Her and I had good communication to make sure everything went as planned. They put a lot of resources into this event and ensuring it worked out properly. They are such a great staff and restaurant. It was my husband and I's first date spot and they graciously agreed to cater our wedding knowing they had not done that before. We are so grateful for Sol and their AMAZING food. “So my boyfriend and I went here for lunch on Easter around 2:00 p.m. We were greeted by a friendly male host who seated us and then the server (another nice young man) came to our table to introduce himself. Both young men were very professional and we were pleased with the customer service. The restaurant was very quiet (especially for Easter) so I was hoping the food would be good. My boyfriend had the mushroom burger and I had the Beyond meatless burger. He had a Guinness canned beer and I had the Blue Reef Margarita. Everything tasted excellent and we were thrilled!
