“This is for the Gondola in Birds Hill. Tonight was the first time we ordered in a while. Had a couple orders in the past that arrived pretty cold. I live 9 minutes away. Tonight it was spot on, perfect cook, perfect crust, right amount of sauce and toppings. And it arrived hot! Well done! Keep doing what you did tonight.“

The chocolate chip brown butter cookies are insanely delicious and the number one reason we come back time and time again! “I've been wondering about the pizza place at the old SCUBA diving store and tonight finally tried it out; I live near enough to walk but there is ample enough parking. I got 2 Calzone's and an order of Elm Sprouts; little cheese pastries with Ham or Pepperoni in them. These are very good sides, though I think they should make a Feta cheese version and perhaps a bit of Olive Oil. The texture of the dipping sauce that came with them was a bit thin and didn't cling to the Sprouts very well. It kinda had to be scooped up. Still good though. The Calzoné could've also used a bit of olive oil, and while not soggy by any means, could've been crisper. The filling was good, generous but not so overloaded it's gushing out the sides. A bit of parmesan wouldn't hurt. I wish I'd gotten the Flon to finish, as I haven't had Flon in many years. I haven't seen Flon at a pizza joint my entire life; it is a Spanish desert not usually served at Pizzeria's. The food has a distinctively Latin feel to it, hard to place but the flavors remind me of the food my mother (from South America) made, particularly the crust. My mother used to make empanada-type meat pies that were remarkably similar tasting. I like the place and plan on trying the pizza itself next time. I kept one Calzone for tomorrow and will give it the true test, cold or room temperature tomorrow morning. Try it for yourself, really. A stanger can only convince another stranger of so much, but I'd say 4 out of 5. The point being knocked off for the dipping sauce (some basic Marinara sauce I got from the fridge was better), though that is my only complaint.“

“Came out for dinner with coworkers and was so pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere, our server was attentive and very friendly (turned out to be one of the owners). We enjoyed 3 pizzas including the rotating pie which was my absolute favourite. This fed 6 of us, we enjoyed some beers and cocktails and the jalapeño appetizers. Everything was so nicely done, tasted great and was unique in flavour. Price was very reasonable and we all left extremely full and impressed! Will certainly be back and be telling our friends!“

“We've been there once on a Friday evening dinner and once had a delivery. The restaurant was a bit busy but the staff was very welcoming, nice and timely, explained all nicely. We had empanadas and a pizza - all delicious. Another time we ordered empanadas - came quickly, still crunchy (wow) and we could actually tell which flavor was which (another wow - they had markings to help distinguish). Empanadas were all (really all!) reaaaally good and so rich in flavors! Really recommend this place.“

“Red Swan Pizza is the best pizza we ever had! After trying many pizza places in Winnipeg and around the globe, nothing beats Red Swan Pizza! Their ingredients are always fresh. Their toppings always have the right quantity and balance and compliment each other. The way the meats are layered is heavenly. They always have the right amounts of sauces and cheese, so they are not overpowering. “The pizza here was a true surprise. The dough is a bit thicker than traditionally made pizza but it turned out to be what makes their pies so good. They put in the effort to proof dough; no shortcuts and no hurry. A shiny electric oven that reaches over 800 degrees is what brings out the flavors and makes the fresh ingredients so good. “The Shaq-eroni has nothing on my lactose tolerance. I usually never know how to order one flavour of pizza whenever I get pizza from anywhere else. “I been here only once and had a fat boy with fries n' gravy and it was very tasteful! I found out that Johnny's has been in operation here for over 40 years. So, obviously all the food they offer must be great. Plus, if you like alcohol with your meal you can get that too! You can bring your children too! Another great thing is you can sit where you want and the waitress will come and greet you n' take your order. Next time I'll try breakfast which you can get anytime. That is a bonus!
