“We had lunch at Cilantros Portage Avenue. Great service and great food. I had the desi wings. I like breaded wings. I don't know what they bread with, but these were amazing and crunchy with a cool fresh diced veggie sauce. My wife had two samosas in a tasty chick pea sauce. I have never really liked samosas before because they were always dry and bland. These were great with just the right amount of heat in the sauce.”

“This review has nothing to do with items on the menu but on the three people that helped me on Monday July 22 in the parking lot when they came to my assistance and called for an ambulance and stayed with me offering comfort until the ambulance came. I don't know their names but it was wonderful to see that there are still good and kind people in this world. I hope to visit this bistro one day and try items on the menu and see you in person. The pike and fish and chips were winners. Would definitely highly recommend. I am so glad my husband found this spot as it was so worth it. Walking through the village was serene and enjoyed a little shopping in the village as well. Loved the animal area as we were introduced to some goats and sheep! Tho the dessert sorta feels the same after awhile I recently celebrated my birthday here and was treated to their warm mini donuts, which were such a fun (and tasty!) I’ve also tried the cheesecake, and it was rich and creamy without being too heavy. “Amazing food! Chicken is so tender and juicy, wasnt dry at all. The gentleman working was extremely nice. I work at Cabana pools right next to them and he brought me a tray of food after I wandered in when it was closed to buy some food for me and my boss. What a lovely little place! Definitely will be eating there more frequently and will reccomend to friends who are heading out of the city via henderson hwy.”
