“Delicious! Wow! This place is a gem. Tried for the first time today for a scheduled take out and they were great. The Hot and sour Thai soup is probably the best I’ve ever had, compared to the Thai places we’ve been in WPG. The pad Thai was also very yummy!”

“Perk staff work hard to make great coffee's and tea's. Highly recommend stopping at their mobile shop and ordering a caramael machiato, I have no idea how to spell that drink but they sure do a great job making it!”

“Me and my husband went to eat here the other night and we had the best customer service! I believe his name was Zachary and he was so polite and very friendly. When he was building our sandwiches when it came to the veggies he asked “is this good, or would you like a little more?” And same when he did the sauces! I’ve never had an experience at a subway where they offer more instead most try and skimp out on the toppings! He was awesome!”

“Excellent service with meticulous attention to detail was provided. Our male server was truly exceptional. My colleague ordered an expertly crafted Old Fashioned. We opted for the lamb shank with polenta. The lamb was tender and flavorful, and the polenta was creamy with a delightful texture. The duck tagliatelle was freshly prepared and remarkably tender; it is definitely a dish suitable for sharing. The flavors were rich and delicious. The warmed beet salad with blood orange and mascarpone was a surprisingly delightful combination for the palate. We finished with the ricotta zepole in a caramel sauce, and we were bursting at the seams with leftovers. Four diverse plates were offered at an exceptional price point. I intend to return.”

“Stopped by Dairy Delights on St. Anne’s Road and tried a few things off the menu. We had the cherry cheesecake hard ice cream, a small blueberry sundae, and a Fat Boy burger with fries.

The Fat Boy was tasty and cooked well, and the fries were fresh and crisp. The blueberry sundae was enjoyable too. My wife had the cherry cheesecake ice cream, but she mentioned it didn’t really have much of a cheesecake flavor—more cherry than anything else.

“I purchased one of the half bake pizzas last week. Took it home and cooked as the employee advised me to. It turned out very good! I would definitely purchase them again! Well done Santa Ana.”

“I finally had the chance to try this restaurant out. I got the sisig nachos and the tapsilog. I found that, although I normally dip my tapa in vinegar, I didn’t need to since it was flavoured just right. I loved the sisig and would have preferred plain nacho chips or maybe a lightly flavoured lime one rather than the nacho flavour only because I think the sisig deserved more of the spotlight. It had great flavour. The service also was great, the girl is super nice and welcoming and I didn’t feel embarrassed eating alone. My only wish is that I had more people with me to be able to try more dishes. Maybe for next time I’ll bring a few people and have the big kamayan dinners they offer. “Fantastic coffee options. Price seems to be increasing steadily, and the last 3 times I've ordered, the cup has been only about half full, which is getting disappointing. I wanted to contact the store and provide my feedback and photos, but there is no electronic option for contact.”

“I want to say in advance our server was wonderful ,she was basically perfect. However when we arrived we asked to be moved to the lounge as our 4:30 reservation for 8 unexpectedly became 10 people. We were advised there was no way we could do that as they were much too busy, and there was another reservation at our table at 7:15. No issue, we sat at our table and we finished at 7:00pm. Our group then went to the lounge and had a drink at the bar.... however, the lounge was empty the entire time. While we were eating dinner there was plenty of room to seat us and at 7:00 the lounge had multiple tables available. The food was impeccable, the service from our server was wonderful, it just would have been nice for management to work with us a bit more contextually”

Challah bread is my number one . Only on Fridays and Saturdays. Call in the am to reserve some otherwise they will be gone by the time you get there.
I discovered the place and now can't buy bread elsewhere.”

I haven't tried a lot of their sweets because as a diabetic I have to watch my sugar intake, but what I have tried has been delicious. The paninis and chicken soup are to die for. I purchased a chicken empanada today for dinner. That was the first item that I was disappointed with. There was a lot of puff pastry. The inside was doughy/gummy. There was a massive cavity on one side that had about 2 tablespoons of bland chicken filling. It was over $5 with tax. I ended up eating only one bite of the pastry and all of the filling. Sadly the rest of the pastry ended up in the garbage.🙁 The empanada was a one-off. All of my previous purchases and experiences there have been wonderful. I would highly recommend this bakery.”

“Tried this restaurant yesterday with my family, service was quick for a busy Thursday evening. They are GENEROUS with their filling in the sushi rolls, and prices are reflective of that. The fatty salmon nigiri was my favourite, so delicious and fresh. My husband loved the Philadelphia roll, and my 4 year old enjoyed her hearty Avacado roll. The dining area isn’t huge but quaint, it was very hot inside the restaurant while we were dining but, that would be our only complaint. We just moved to the area and will be regulars at this restaurant! Looking forward to our next visit.”

“I went into Double D's when I needed to find something for dessert for a family dinner. I was met by a wonderfully cheery woman that informed me that she was one of the D's in Double D's. I had never been there before and I let her know that, and she was not only extremely helpful but awesomely charismatic and you could tell she had a passion for what she was doing. She told me to try the Pistachio, Blueberry, and Skor and they were all a hit. I wish I could remember her name, but I do know I will be going back next time I am in Winnipeg! Definitely recommend!”

Just ate here and WOW. The food blew us away! We ordered the calamari and it was hands-down the best calamari we’ve ever had. Sherry was our server and she was amazing she recommended almost everything we ordered and every suggestion was spot-on.

It was our first time here, and we’re honestly sad they’re closing this Sunday. My girlfriend kept saying she wishes she had discovered this place years ago! The filet mignon was unbelievably good — it literally melts in your mouth. SO flavorful and perfectly cooked.

What an unforgettable experience. If you get the chance to come before they close, do it!”
