“Delicious! Wow! This place is a gem. Tried for the first time today for a scheduled take out and they were great. The Hot and sour Thai soup is probably the best I’ve ever had, compared to the Thai places we’ve been in WPG. The pad Thai was also very yummy!”

“I ordered 2 subs on a mobile order at dinner time. When I arrived it was obvious the two ladies behind the counter were busy. Their attitudes were extremely positive and sincere. They apologized while trying to organize and get everything in order. These girls deserve 5 stars alone. It was incredibly stressful but they handled it professionally and were really trying their best. I was a bit worried the subs wouldn’t be as good if they were rushing but it was the total opposite! They were perfect! Those girls deserve a raise!!”

“The food here is amazing and never a miss! We came for my friend’s bachelorette and I definitely recommend trying the Tuna Crudo (it was our favourite). Our drinks and food came to our table in a timely matter. The atmosphere was great and the staff were really friendly.

“I finally had the chance to try this restaurant out. I got the sisig nachos and the tapsilog. I found that, although I normally dip my tapa in vinegar, I didn’t need to since it was flavoured just right. I loved the sisig and would have preferred plain nacho chips or maybe a lightly flavoured lime one rather than the nacho flavour only because I think the sisig deserved more of the spotlight. It had great flavour. The service also was great, the girl is super nice and welcoming and I didn’t feel embarrassed eating alone. My only wish is that I had more people with me to be able to try more dishes. Maybe for next time I’ll bring a few people and have the big kamayan dinners they offer. “I went into Double D's when I needed to find something for dessert for a family dinner. I was met by a wonderfully cheery woman that informed me that she was one of the D's in Double D's. I had never been there before and I let her know that, and she was not only extremely helpful but awesomely charismatic and you could tell she had a passion for what she was doing. She told me to try the Pistachio, Blueberry, and Skor and they were all a hit. I wish I could remember her name, but I do know I will be going back next time I am in Winnipeg! Definitely recommend!”

“Absolutely fantastic experience! We ordered the Seafood Yaki Udon, Sunomono Salad, Tiger Roll, and Alaska Roll — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The Yaki Udon had a rich, savory taste with just the right balance of seafood, and the rolls were beautifully presented with great texture and taste. The staff were warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. You can really feel the care put into both the food and the service. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!!!”

“Staff are very friendly! ❤️ Their sourdough bread and Olive ciabatta bread are fabulous. I haven't tried a lot of their sweets because as a diabetic I have to watch my sugar intake, but what I have tried has been delicious. The paninis and chicken soup are to die for. I purchased a chicken empanada today for dinner. That was the first item that I was disappointed with. There was a lot of puff pastry. The inside was doughy/gummy. There was a massive cavity on one side that had about 2 tablespoons of bland chicken filling. It was over $5 with tax. I ended up eating only one bite of the pastry and all of the filling. Sadly the rest of the pastry ended up in the garbage.🙁 The empanada was a one-off. All of my previous purchases and experiences there have been wonderful. I would highly recommend this bakery.”

“Great to have a venue dedicated to breakfast and lunch in St. Vital. The portions are huge and ingredients of good quality. Maybe almost too much food as neither of us finished our plates. The meals are a step up from other franchise breakfast diners, but a tier or two still below a boutique breakfast diner. A nice mid option. Staff friendly and helpful too. Atmosphere, at least during busy or peak hours is rough. Tables sticky from quick turn around, children everywhere, tons of noise, and it gets a bit hot and crowded feeling. But once it empties out a bit, it’s pretty comfortable inside. Overall great option for breakfast, especially in an area of town that needs it and if you have an appetite for portion
