“Delicious! Wow! This place is a gem. Tried for the first time today for a scheduled take out and they were great. The Hot and sour Thai soup is probably the best I’ve ever had, compared to the Thai places we’ve been in WPG. The pad Thai was also very yummy!”

“Me and my husband went to eat here the other night and we had the best customer service! I believe his name was Zachary and he was so polite and very friendly. When he was building our sandwiches when it came to the veggies he asked “is this good, or would you like a little more?” And same when he did the sauces! I’ve never had an experience at a subway where they offer more instead most try and skimp out on the toppings! He was awesome!”

“We had the Familiglia Meal for four. It was a lot of food. Some was too spicy for my friends pallettes but it was perfect for mine. Loved the variety and show casing of Mediterranean food. The squid 🦑 chips were great with the Tuna Carpaccio!!

“Stopped by Dairy Delights on St. Anne’s Road and tried a few things off the menu. We had the cherry cheesecake hard ice cream, a small blueberry sundae, and a Fat Boy burger with fries.

The Fat Boy was tasty and cooked well, and the fries were fresh and crisp. The blueberry sundae was enjoyable too. My wife had the cherry cheesecake ice cream, but she mentioned it didn’t really have much of a cheesecake flavor—more cherry than anything else.

Overall, everything was up to par. The service was fast and courteous, which always makes a difference. This review is for Google Reviews—if you're in the area and looking for a quick bite or a cool treat, Dairy Delights is worth a stop.”

“I really enjoy Prairie Donair the food is always fresh, flavourful, and consistently good. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The portions are great, and it’s become one of my go-to spots when I’m craving deep fried pickles or a Donair.

Service is decent and orders are prepared quickly, which I appreciate.

The only downside is that it always seems to be very cold inside. Because of that, it’s not somewhere I’d personally choose to dine in I usually opt for takeout instead. If the temperature was more comfortable, I’d definitely consider staying to eat.

“I finally had the chance to try this restaurant out. I got the sisig nachos and the tapsilog. I found that, although I normally dip my tapa in vinegar, I didn’t need to since it was flavoured just right. I loved the sisig and would have preferred plain nacho chips or maybe a lightly flavoured lime one rather than the nacho flavour only because I think the sisig deserved more of the spotlight. It had great flavour. The service also was great, the girl is super nice and welcoming and I didn’t feel embarrassed eating alone. My only wish is that I had more people with me to be able to try more dishes. Maybe for next time I’ll bring a few people and have the big kamayan dinners they offer. Thanks for a great meal experience this weekend:) See you again soon.”

“I want to say in advance our server was wonderful ,she was basically perfect. However when we arrived we asked to be moved to the lounge as our 4:30 reservation for 8 unexpectedly became 10 people. We were advised there was no way we could do that as they were much too busy, and there was another reservation at our table at 7:15. No issue, we sat at our table and we finished at 7:00pm. Our group then went to the lounge and had a drink at the bar.... however, the lounge was empty the entire time. While we were eating dinner there was plenty of room to seat us and at 7:00 the lounge had multiple tables available. The food was impeccable, the service from our server was wonderful, it just would have been nice for management to work with us a bit more contextually”

“I bought a rustic Greek loaf of bread here the other day and it was the best bread I've ever eaten in Winnipeg. I've always complained about the quality of food in this city but this is the exception. And the service is at the level of the bread!!!”

“Honestly what can’t I say about this place? By far the best sushi place in all of Winnipeg. Even better than the places I’ve tried in the rest of Canada. The quality is top notch. Fresh fish, perfectly ripe avocado, and even the cooked meats are never over/under done. This place has never had an off day and what you get is perfectly consistent each time you order. Something this restaurant does unlike any other sushi place I’ve encountered is their “New Hampshire roll”. Think sriracha, tempura, avocado, and BACON! I have never found anywhere else that does a roll like this and it is an insanely different take on conventional sushi, but damn is it good. As far as the classics go though, I have never found better sashimi in my life. You can really tell the quality of the fish when the sashimi is beyond impressive just by itself. What throws me the most about this place is that they are one of the least expensive sushi restaurants. I have eaten sushi that was double the price and still far lacking compared to sushi N. Seriously, this place is worth the drive even from the other end of the city.”

“I went into Double D's when I needed to find something for dessert for a family dinner. I was met by a wonderfully cheery woman that informed me that she was one of the D's in Double D's. I had never been there before and I let her know that, and she was not only extremely helpful but awesomely charismatic and you could tell she had a passion for what she was doing. She told me to try the Pistachio, Blueberry, and Skor and they were all a hit. I wish I could remember her name, but I do know I will be going back next time I am in Winnipeg! Definitely recommend!”

“Had an awesome experience at Block & Blade Restaurant & Bar. The service was great from start to finish.

I ordered the brisket melt and it was super flavourful with a really generous portion, honestly big enough that I had leftovers for lunch the next day. The yam fries were cooked perfectly as well.

My partner had the chicken brie sandwich and said it was really tasty, and the apple cranberry salad was super refreshing.

The staff are super friendly, the service is really fast, and the food... it's just absolutely my favorite place for a real, not fast food restaurant burger and fries. The burgers are absolutely delicious, the fries are home made, a super generous helping, and delicious too, and their gravy is absolutely my favorite gravy anywhere.
