“Great Lil' Spot to Get some Good Grub. The Beef Dip was absolutely amazing on the Foccoscia bread BUT it's too soft for the Au Jus (just falls apart in a soggy mess and hard to handle) Definitely recommend toasting the bread longer and the Pierogies less (but that's just my opinion) They're a lil' hard on the teefers and like mine just slightly fried. Garlic Parm fries were a Unique upgrade but lacking Garlic Flavor & Value. Would be amazing vs ok with a Pinch more Parm. Atmosphere was Modern,Upgraded, and CLEAN. Loved the Huge Ferns and Cafe' aesthetic. Great Service!!! Drinks always Full. Would definitely come back to try other menu items. Menu has lots to Offer.”

“I had a great experience at this Tim Hortons. I ordered a large double-double, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and a pack of chocolate Timbits. The food was fresh and delicious—the bagel was perfectly toasted, and the cream cheese was generously spread, just how I like it. The coffee was hot and brewed to perfection, and the Timbits were soft and full of flavor.

What really stood out was how attentive the staff were. As I was picking up my order, I was in a bit of a rush and forgot to grab my pack of Timbits. Before I even realized it, one of the employees kindly called out to remind me, making sure I didn’t leave anything behind. Their quick attention turned a simple coffee run into a delightful experience.”

“We had the truffle butter steak, it was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the side dishes we're quite good too. Unfortunately the last two times we've been here our table was overlooked by serving staff and we waited a long time to get drinks and our order in. In both instances hosting staff saved the day! A super stand out for us was TRENT a young host who took our reservations and then sat us when we arrived. TRENT was so authentically friendly, made eye contact, smiled and even checked in on us through our dinner to ensure we we being served by our "forgetful" waitress. I hope this review will ensure TRENT is acknowledged for his stand out service, a real rarity these days...Go Trent!”

“I've tried many other shawarma places but this one still has the best shawarma in the city. In fact, someone at another Middle Eastern restaurant even told me the same. The ingredients are fresh, the portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the meat is excellent. The service can be hit or miss—sometimes you get very pleasant employees, other times they're just okay, but never bad. One minor concern is that they place their utensils on top of the garbage can next to used rags/towels, which I found a bit off-putting. Overall, everything else was great.”

The pristine service, the delicious entrees with high quality ingredients and culinary skills, and the cozy atmosphere of a 100 year plus home was amazing. We wished for nothing more. Leave the bustle of the city …. Come home…. To the Gates. You will not be disappointed.”

“My husband failed to remember the name of this epic delicatessen when we were visiting from Nova Scotia 2 years ago. I'M SO GLAD HE REMEMBERED THIS TIME! A sandwich to remember! 200g, your choice of several kinds of delectable meat stacked between delicious rye, your choice sauce, served hot or cold, and a fat delicious dill pickle on the side. The atmosphere is original as it was when it opened in the late 50s! And the gentleman that owns it was incredibly generous and inviting. He immediately met us with ice cold bottles of water (very hot day) and cookies for the kids for dessert and a little bag of candy on the way out the door. So very kind of him to give these things to us. I will absolutely be back, especially for that deadly looking brisket sandwich!!”
