10 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Portage La Prairie

“First off full disclosure. I never leave reviews but out of my own self interest of wanting badly for this place to be super successful and stick around for the next 40 years I am this time.

Now, today for lunch I stopped and got a double fat boy to go. The atmosphere was great, the lady at the front was very nice, and the washrooms were clean. All that said the burger was absolutely fantastic! I can’t say enough about it. Even though I was genuinely full next time I’m getting two! They are that good!! The cook is top notch!!!

If anyone is leaving bad reviews about this place just disregard. They are either the local competitors or out of their minds! Thank you so much Jimmys for the excellent burger! Top 3 in my life and I consider myself a burger connoisseur. Enjoy people!!!“

“My family and I are always excited to dine here wether picking up or eating in. Krishan is a man with a servants heart, going above and beyond in any way he can in regards to the customer service he provides. Restaurant is always clean and food is made hot and fresh. Special orders for myself and our children are taken with attention to detail. I always tell people Burger King is by far my favorite fast food joint in Portage la Prairie. Thank you Krishan and staff for making the experience what it is!“

Its a Dairy Queen that takes pride in being a Dairy Queen so it works? best way to say it, this one keeps the way Dairy Queen should work and does it at A+, atomsphere is what is expected in a fast food restuarant. These are my experiences of entering and eating at this location four times at the time of writing this.“

“My son and I ordered KFC in Portage yesterday and they forgot our fries. When my son called back they were very kind and kept apologizing and told us we can pick them up. I go pick them up and the lady at window apologized and then another worker who gave us our fries included a large gravy for their mistake and she also kept apologizing. Just that little apology makes a huge difference..some other businesses can learn good customer service from these ladies! Such places like bills sticky fingers who actually got mad at us because they made a mistake with our order. No apology , just rude , take notes bills sticky fingers! Awesome friendly workers at KFC!“

“I absolutely love their coupons, our good was cooked fresh, I ordered onion rings and a teen burger, We were offered the glass mugs and that was much appreciated.

The tabled were clean, it is hard to keep the floors clean in the middle of winter but the restaurant is well lit and has a good atmosphere.

“Were ordered from here and left 11 Caesar salads behind. They texted me a few minutes later but I was already out of town. I told them that. They said they would bring them. I said we are located in Sandy Bay. The guy said he knows and would send someone. I didn’t believe it until they showed up with our salads. We were so happy with their service. We tried to tip the driver but he declined. Great service!“
