Had the bacon burger and fries with gravey. Was really good. Server was awesome, fast and friendly. We drove from Toronto to the super 8 next door. Was 4 of us and no one took pictures to tired to think.
2 couples came for dinner. We ordered starters plus our meals. Our friends got their starters and nothing for us. Asked the waitress where our appetizer was, she' said your friends said they wanted starters, you didn't say anything. I said they are called starters for a reason and we ordered our meals, definitely didn't want all that at once. Manager gave us appetizers for free to take home, that was very nice. Food was good.
We hosted a golf tournament "pre-event" for 31 people at the Tavern in Portage.Staff, service and food/beverage quality were all great. They were ready for our arrival and served us very well for the duration of the evening.If ever in Portage, I'd highly recommend the Tavern as the place to go!Thanks Wes and team - hope to see you again in the future!
