“figured i'd spend my last full day in ste anne at a meaningful spot. a cute little restaurant and bar, i walked in and felt right at home. (coincidentally, i live close to another restaurant called the thirsty cactus which is completely unrelated to this one!) i got the chicken caesar wrap with buffalo sauce and a side of fries. the fries were the ones with the little crust on them that tasted absolutely decadent, and the wrap was nothing short of perfect. everything was very well priced as well!“

“I stopped into the lounge at Smitty’s in Steinbach today and was really impressed. Annika was behind the bar and she may be one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had, warm, professional, and she made me feel completely welcome right away. Even with my slightly unusual order (2-egg breakfast with 4 extra eggs), she didn’t bat an eye, just handled it with ease and a smile. The food came out great, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere felt relaxed but polished. As a visitor, I’d say this is one of the top spots in Steinbach if you’re looking for a clean, friendly place to grab a meal or bring a client.“
