“Atmosphere is so cool, especially around Christmas. Everything was so festive, and overall a very cool setting and atmosphere. Service isn’t your typical restaurant style. It’s a seat yourself type of thing, so it can be slow but in general service was pretty good. Food was amazing. I got the bbq pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. Fries were nothing special but the main course was very good. Overall I had a very good experience and will definitely be returning in the future.“

“I am a regular at Times and Bluenote, it is always amazing. One of the best things has always been that it is a place to DANCE and show appreciation to the band playing hard for us. All of the regulars make space and make room. Love this place. Recently, the demographic has seen some younger folks finally finding out about this amazing gem for live music…the problem, they are taking over the dance floor and making it into a STANDfloor. I was there for Halloween and the band, amazing as always, staff, out of this world. Sadly, no matter where I am attempted to find a small square to dance, a younger, often pretty drunk person decided that the exact space I occupied needed to be usurped. I finally decided to hold my ground. Folks, come and love this amazing place, but please if are not dancing, stay off the DANCE floor. Or…get the heck on there, dance and keep the vibe high! Please stop stomping on folks. There is room for everyone.“

“Fun bad, Good live bands they sound great, fun atmosphere and good service, honestly only problem with how popular this place is they need a bigger bar and larger building, place was fully to capacity and they had to stop people at the door. And with this many people need faster drinks.“

“VLTS. 1 pool table. Occasionally an event or band. Karaoke on the weekends I believe. I've never ordered food here. Don't know if they even have a kitchen to cook in. There's a shuffle board in the back past the washrooms. Quaint lil place to grab a beer. Support your local Legion.“

“Been here about 5 times, bar tender has been amazing, food is affordable and good. Bar tender knows what I drink and usually pipes it when I walk in. Location detracts from the atmosphere but once inside everything is always a good time.(half nacho portion could probably feed 3 or 4)“

“The atmosphere is beyond beautiful with the vibes to match! Bar Red Sea is a very diverse and all inclusive restaurant/lounge. Service and food is served with efficiency
and the staff and owner treat everyone with kindness and respect every time you walk through those doors. I’d highly recommend this place whether you are wanting to eat hangout watch a game, or having some fun w/ friends on a night out! Very pleased with my experience and will definitely be returning!!“

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Original Joe’s here in Winnipeg tonight. I live just down the street, and it’s always great when a local spot delivers the kind of respectful, attentive service that makes you want to keep coming back.

I came in mainly to enjoy a few beers and unwind, and Brittany and Brooklyn completely understood the vibe I was going for. They were quick, friendly, and perfectly timed with their check-ins — exactly the kind of smooth rotational service that makes grabbing a few drinks relaxing instead of inconvenient.

Both of them made me feel welcome the entire time. Never rushed, never ignored — just genuinely great service from start to finish. And the complimentary beer they surprised me with was a classy, much-appreciated touch that really made my night.

Huge shoutout to Brittany and Brooklyn for going above and beyond. They deserve full credit for making this such a great experience.

“Well.....I figured I'd try the Traditional Poutine, the flavour and portion size were very good, unfortunately it was cool with cold spots in it. The perogies were VERY good, my friend had the Buffalo Chicken poutine and it was REALLY good. The Thai chicken bird were good with the prefect amount of spice. We also had the giant mozza sticks, the flavour was good, but not quite worth the $10 per stick.“

“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“
