“my Girlfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a Ceser and appetizer or 2 the place was busy but not packed!! the amosphere was great, not sure if I'm getting old but I found the music to be a little loud lol. but over all it was great!“
“I am a regular at Times and Bluenote, it is always amazing. One of the best things has always been that it is a place to DANCE and show appreciation to the band playing hard for us. All of the regulars make space and make room. Love this place. Recently, the demographic has seen some younger folks finally finding out about this amazing gem for live music…the problem, they are taking over the dance floor and making it into a STANDfloor. I was there for Halloween and the band, amazing as always, staff, out of this world. Sadly, no matter where I am attempted to find a small square to dance, a younger, often pretty drunk person decided that the exact space I occupied needed to be usurped. I finally decided to hold my ground. Folks, come and love this amazing place, but please if are not dancing, stay off the DANCE floor. Or…get the heck on there, dance and keep the vibe high! Please stop stomping on folks. There is room for everyone.“

“I went with 5 of my friends last night. We didn’t book a reservation before hand, and it was packed. We were able to find spots at the bar top. Although it was busy, our server/bartender named Jess did not forget about us. She got our drinks and food orders in right away. The food was absolutely delicious, and when a table opened up, there was no hesitation for them allowing us to move to that table. Great night!!!“

“Fun bad, Good live bands they sound great, fun atmosphere and good service, honestly only problem with how popular this place is they need a bigger bar and larger building, place was fully to capacity and they had to stop people at the door. And with this many people need faster drinks.“

“ANAF Club 60 (the Legion) is an incredible bastion of affordable drinks and bar-side activities. Drinks during Happy Hour are very reasonably priced and they typically have many local options on tap. Bar-goers can enjoy Karaoke (depending on the evening), Shuffleboard, and Billiards, as well as themed nights. Great Spot along Osborne and River.“

“This little hole in the wall is a community favourite. They host all sorts of fundraisers, have karaoke nights and will stay late on Mondays for the softball teams. The food is good and drinks are plenty. Drink service can be a little slow.“

and the staff and owner treat everyone with kindness and respect every time you walk through those doors. I’d highly recommend this place whether you are wanting to eat hangout watch a game, or having some fun w/ friends on a night out! Very pleased with my experience and will definitely be returning!!“

“Went out tonight for my wedding anniversary dinner.
Was seated right away (we had reservation though), staff were friendly and attentive, appetizer came out extremely fast.
We enjoyed the steak bites for an appetizer, they were amazing, I really enjoyed the horse radish dip. I had the prime rib for main course, it was great. Wife had a burger, she said it was also great and very filling. They treated us to a free desert due to our anniversary which was unexpected but extremely gracious of them.
Will be back for another date night with the wife. 100% recommend“

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Original Joe’s here in Winnipeg tonight. I live just down the street, and it’s always great when a local spot delivers the kind of respectful, attentive service that makes you want to keep coming back.
I came in mainly to enjoy a few beers and unwind, and Brittany and Brooklyn completely understood the vibe I was going for. They were quick, friendly, and perfectly timed with their check-ins — exactly the kind of smooth rotational service that makes grabbing a few drinks relaxing instead of inconvenient.
Both of them made me feel welcome the entire time. Never rushed, never ignored — just genuinely great service from start to finish. And the complimentary beer they surprised me with was a classy, much-appreciated touch that really made my night.
Huge shoutout to Brittany and Brooklyn for going above and beyond. They deserve full credit for making this such a great experience.

“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“

“Ordered the fiesta burger for Burger Week, the burger was great but the queso dip was forgotten. Unfortunately Im from a different part of the city (I tried to order delivery but I’m outside their zone) so I selected pick up. I didn’t notice that the queso was missing until I got home. Since there is no direct phone line to Leo’s tavern, I tried to go online again and the option for ordering online was closed. Food is always good here at Leo’s but I was stoked for the queso dip.“
