One of the best Indian restaurants in Winnipeg
sorry to say , the food wasn’t good as it was stale , we make at home and worked in restaurant too. , i know how it pooks when food is stale , im vomiting since i had paneer dosa thali and veg thali , last night , everything was good service and servers were kind , but please dont give stale food to customers as its not good for health
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service by Kiran was top-notch! She is helpful and professional. Every dish was full of flavor, and the staff made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

’m extremely disappointed with my experience for someone who’s been going to clay oven ever since it opened. To the Muslim community of Winnipeg this is important. I’m going to make sure I let the Muslim community know about this.
I clearly asked for halal chicken dumplings and was told it was halal, but it turned out that it wasn’t after I investigated ON MY OWN.
This is completely unacceptable. Misrepresenting food as halal when it isn’t is not just careless—it’s deeply disrespectful to customers’ religious beliefs and trust. This isn’t a small mistake; it’s a serious breach of trust and complete disrespect for my religious beliefs. Serving non-halal food while claiming it’s halal is dishonest and offensive.
As someone who takes my faith seriously, I find this misleading and unethical. Serving food under false assurances is a serious matter, especially when it involves faith-based dietary requirements. I expect honesty and transparency from any establishment, and this experience has broken that trust.
I won’t be returning, and I urge others who require halal food to not eat at this restaurant.
This place is awesome..food is so yummy and the little angel Kiran is so nice and helpful with a charming smile. Thanks Clay Oven and once again thanks Kiran for the hospitality

Excellent curries. Great flavors, and the pepper was tempered on request. The ochroes [bhindi] was especially favored by the party.

Table of 4 does not have enough space to serve appetizer with the main dish. When asked why serve both the same time, the guy simply said you didn't mention that I wanted both separately.
