Don’t order the seafood pasta. It’s literally plain noodles with some oil and a sprinkle of cheese with terrible seafood. Ordered an appetizer instead and asked them to have it ready for 8 but they can’t even do that right so I’m stuck here waiting. They need to hire more staff instead of letting a ton of people stand at the front “waiting to be seated” if you can go somewhere else, you should.

I tried to call this place for over 30 minutes on Monday February the 23rd at about 7pm, all they did was pick up and hang up the phone repeatedly. I work at hsc and the people they have working there need to be fired, and better trained non- incompetent personnel be hired. Completely pathetic, which is really to bad because my wife and i really enjoyed their decadent chicken pizza. Never order from this place ever, as we will never again

Garbonzo’s Sports Pub HSC is very well located inside the Canad Inns hotel, with direct connection to HSC and the University of Manitoba. They offer both dine-in service at the restaurant tables and take-out options, which is super convenient if you’re nearby for work, studies, or appointments.
We ordered pizza and they were delicious, especially the sausage and the veggie versions. The restaurant itself is spacious, with a wide variety of food options on the menu, and the service was friendly and efficient.
I totally recommend it if you’re in the area! It’s a great spot to grab something tasty and enjoy a relaxed meal.

They service is slow and everyone but the bartender can be extremely unprofessional. I witness an unhappy customer being dealt with and they made no eye contact, rolled their eyes at her and were straight up rude. When she left and I was waiting to pay my bill, they stood there talking about her rudely. I had to say excuse me I'm waiting to pay my bill. The next day I went to meet my family there and I waited and waited for the waitress to come. I went up to there desk to tell them I was going to order and was sitting with my family. The lady said she would be right over and handed me a menu to take back to my table. She never came. She looked ate walking past many times then asked if I was seated by someone. I told her I spoke to her earlier. She walked away and brought my family their food, then took my order afterwards. She was rude . This shows a major lack of proper management and training, by the way the staff treats everyone. Such a shame because I do enjoy the food.

Wife brought home Spaghetti Pizza from here after visiting her father in the hospital. Delicious, lots of toppings. Reminded us of pizza we used to buy at a friends restaurant. A bit pricey for takeout but was a tasty treat for the whole family.

Get services, me and my wife have been coming to this establishment since she had her surgrey back in November 2024. The staff remembered us and treated us so kindly, the manger Stephanie went above and beyond her role and made the experience so much more worthwhile ♡ The staff kyler , nisarg and terri also served us were so happy and we actually were there in between a shift change and got a over best experience meeting the staff and also Chloe was just getting on her shift the staff here made me feel so welcome and I will continue to come back to see our new friends that made life long memories! Thank you especially to Stephanie you and phenomenal in you line of work

They need to update there kids menu. On the menu it lists kids meal including free drinks, but the catch is that you have to dine inside. The issue is that the menu do not include that important piece of information on the kids menu. Only after five days of staying here I realized I was getting charged an additional $9.00 for three orange juice for the kids. It's not coming out of my pocket personally because of my job but I still dislike that there isn't enough clarity or a disclaimer. Not the workers fault at all as they explained to me in a professional way when I questioned them. Hopefully there will be a little more clarity when they update it in the future.
Aaltos is the superior restaurant when it comes to customer service and honoring their menu list.
Updated to five star from 2 star because of a employee named Abdul. He gave exceptional service consistent and i would hate to give a bad review when the workers are exceptional.
