One of the best place for breakfast in Winnipeg. A small simple dinner for an old fashion feel. The food was amazing and not covered in grease like other restaurants I have been. Great portions and affordable pricing. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. A great atmosphere and we highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Kids were there with their parents for breakfast. They had big smiles. And the staff made them feel welcomed.Parking: Spots behind the restaurant as well as street parking
I've only tried the bacon burger and bannock burger so far; both dishes were amazing! The burger patty is so tasty. The delicious fries remind me of the food truck fries in Kenora. The gravy is loaded with flavour. Hambo's Restaurant is officially my go-to burger joint. I haven't tried their fried bologna yet, but it looks fantastic. You certainly won't leave hungry.

came across this restaurant by chance - driving by and we were so happy with our decision to stop and eat breakfast / it has a nice little diner feel seating along the counter and a couple of booths at the end it’s was cash only - prices are pretty decent n the servings are a nice size and the food was amazing Especially the Bannock - so delicious we opted for the bannock instead of traditional varieties of bread for toast on our way out we seen a couple of orders with the burgers...read full review
