“Stopped by Dairy Delights on St. Anne’s Road and tried a few things off the menu. We had the cherry cheesecake hard ice cream, a small blueberry sundae, and a Fat Boy burger with fries.

The Fat Boy was tasty and cooked well, and the fries were fresh and crisp. The blueberry sundae was enjoyable too. My wife had the cherry cheesecake ice cream, but she mentioned it didn’t really have much of a cheesecake flavor—more cherry than anything else.

Overall, everything was up to par. The service was fast and courteous, which always makes a difference. This review is for Google Reviews—if you're in the area and looking for a quick bite or a cool treat, Dairy Delights is worth a stop.“

“I had the pleasure of running across this quaint little ice cream shop, with a large selection of very tasty ice cream. It was the day we celebrated Pinawa Birthday. I wanted ice cream and later went back for coffee. Our party of three each ordered a different flavour and were delighted in taste testing each others. The ice cream was so good. We had to wait our turn in the line up but it was so worth it. I went by later for coffee and discovered they were supposed to be closed an hour before that but the happy customers kept coming so she made us our lattes. There was a group of Police man after us and Julia happily served them after us. I loved the ice cream, I loved the passionate and friendly service and the lattes were very tasty. It’s nice to see a small town business being run with such care, compassion to stay over time and such a tasty selection. If you haven’t tried it yet… GO. I will be back. 😊😊😊“

“Nucci’s was the perfect place to host my dad’s 80th birthday. They closed the restaurant on a Friday night for our family, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was outstanding, homemade, authentic, and made with so much love. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a family milestone, I highly recommend Nucci’s. “I’ve been coming to this DQ for almost a year now Probably visiting around a total of 12 times, the owner Jagminder is often there. Service is always excellent and all of the staff are friendly plus the treats are delicious 🤤 and often they have a coupon to save a couple bucks on hand or on the App. All you have to do is ask. Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ highly recommend. This is the place to come grab a treat. Hurry up before I eat them all.“

“Neon cone is a great local ice cream spot located in the Johnston terminal at the Forks. They sell soft ice cream, ice cream scoops, ice cream, shakes, flurries, drinks (water, pop, lemonade and slushies), and sundaes. They have a variety of flavors ranging from cookies and cream, espresso flake, cookie dough, chocolate fresh mint chip, pistachio, salted caramel, birthday cake, bubblegum, dark chocolate, raspberry lemon curd, cheesecake, and maple whiskey salted pecan. Prices are fairly reasonable and the service is pretty good. I recommend.“

“We had a baby shower here and it was the most beautiful and exciting day for all of us. The Ice Cream was so good and the cake was great too! I described how I wanted the gender hidden inside the ice cream for fun and they did deliver. Ask for their Mini Waffles, those are also really good with different flavours. Customer service? RJ was so friendly and patient, Donna was so nice and supportive.

“There’s so many options here. Whether it’s summer, winter or fall - whatever the season is, there’s comfort food for it. I suggest trying their siopao, fresh lumpia or Goto combo which is their rice porridge with tripe and lumpia. In the summer time, I go for icecream/gelato or halo halo? if you’re a dessert person, their ensaymada and gelato’s are good options.“

“The Dapper Doughnut is located on the second floor of Polo Park Mall at 1485 Portage Ave. They offer a nice selection of sweets and sodas other beverages. Their specialty is donuts, of course – double chocolate, mint chip, maple, strawberry, one etc. There’s a small seating area. It’s located close to RW & Co, foot locker, call it spring, swarovski, and JD sports. The elevator is leading to the second floor are located steps away. It’s a nice place to stop by for a quick sweet snack. I recommend.“

Not only did they look amazing, they tasted amazing and are fairly big. we ordered a week ahead and they were ready on time as promised. “I give 5 stars for all my previous visits — the ice cream was always exactly what I wanted. But this time, the girl at the counter made a mistake, and I had to pay again to get the right one. She should know the menu better and ask questions if unsure. Disappointing, especially since I came here just for this ice cream.“

“I get really bad anxiety just leaving my house. Like, I rehearse my drive-thru order in the car, out loud, alone. So when I tell you this DQ is my safe place, I mean it.

Yes, sometimes the wait is a little long, but honestly? That’s fine. I panic when people rush, so I actually like the extra time to practice my “Hi, how are you?” so it sounds normal. And so far they’ve always gotten my order right (I’m looking at you Tim Horton’s).

The staff is ridiculously friendly. Like, the kind of friendly where I immediately wondered if they were talking to me by mistake. One time an employee smiled at me so sincerely that I almost cried into my Blizzard. It made me so happy to have such friendly service at the drive-thru (again, I’m looking at you Tim Horton’s).

And THE CAKES. OH. MY. GOSH. Their cake decorator is basically Michelangelo but with frosting. I’ve ordered custom cakes from them multiple times and every single one made me gasp like I had just discovered fire (picture Tom Hank’s character in Cast Away…that’s me with their cakes). They’re my go-to now. I don’t trust anyone else with an icing bag.

Also, they have this little patio outside that feels like a tiny vacation. On hot summer days, it’s basically the Maldives but with fries. Okay, maybe not the Maldives. More like Birds Hill park. But it’s still a nice little spot. I bring my treat out there, sit in the sun, and pretend I’m a relaxed, carefree person instead of someone who stress-sweats in the parking lot.

Anyway, please go support them. They’re a hidden gem!

“Love Dreamland Diner! The smash burger is to die for and the milkshakes are hands down the best in town. The cute retro vibe paired with a super kid friendly setup makes it one of my favorite places to go with my kiddo (and my husband because he LOVES the smash burger).

The staff is always incredibly friendly too.
