fantastic food at unreal prices!
I want to give a huge thank you to Johnny and Foti but especially to Michael and his very limited staff at Johnnys Main Street Saturday night. They were busy front and back and we still had fantastic service. Great friends, food, service and perfect weather made my 50th an awesome night. Thank you so much! You definetly made new customers out of a bunch more people! 😊
We usually go to Mcdermot location but last visit about 2 weeks ago, I went with my sister and brother-in-law and Main St. location is where they’re familiar with, I didnt mind as I go to this location as well way back then.
I gave food a 4 star but not 5 star as I like Mcdermot taste better. And we all ordered medium rare but my sisters steak was swimming in more blood than my husband and I’s. So no consistency there. Which we never encountered at Main St. location.

Johnny G's Restaurant & Bar serves excellent food at affordable prices. Their menu items, such as chicken fingers, fatboys, bacon cheese burger, poutine, and ribs, are generous in portion and taste great. The restaurant is popular for its late-night service, reasonable prices, and friendly staff who accommodate groups quickly. However, some customers have experienced inconsistent food quality, like steaks cooked unevenly, and poor service, with servers feeling stressed and forgetting orders. The atmosphere can be cramped, with tight spaces for wheelchairs and cold air near the entrance. Despite this, many customers recommend it for its great food, value, and convenient location near Via Rail station and The Forks. Parking is available but has time restrictions, and there’s paid parking on-site. The staff is known for being kind and funny, especially during late-night visits.
