Food was phenomenal. I have celiac and lactose intolerance and both were easily accommodated and taken seriously. I look forward to trying more of their food and drink menu as they clearly know how to handle both.
They may need to add a clause that guests are allowed to lick their plates in public...

My son wanted to take me out for Father's Day dinner something different and new to us. The food that we got was absolutely amazing flavors were subtle and not slap in the face kind of flavor but very good and nothing like I've ever had before. The service we received was absolutely above and beyond not ones that we have to look around if we needed something are drinks were kept full as well as our water and there was always someone there if we needed. The cheerfully answered all of our questions about the meals. Definitely got to come back here with my wife as this is an amazing place a Hidden Gem truly. I will add once again the owners definitely have been blessed by absolutely fantastic staff. Are whole experiences there is not one negative take on it and well worth the extra money.

Unreal experience. Server was very helpful in helping us find a wine we would like, and helped guide us through the menu to help us try a few different options. Definitely coming back with more people.

Update: a few years later.
Dropped in for a birthday celebration since the last time I was here the food was great. Upon entering the patio, the woman who seated us seemed bothered we wanted a shaded seat which was a bit of a strange start to the outing. But the waitress we had afterwards was great.

We tried:
🐟 tuna tostadas, this was delicious, very fresh tuna (melt in your mouth level) and the sauces paired very well.
🥔 Patatas bravas was again a hit (just like last time delicious!).
🇮🇹 The arancini was okay, but I wouldn't order them again (were a little too gummy/mushy), a little different than what I've had in Italy.
🐚The clams and the thai sauce was okay, but the seasoning was slightly off, it was missing something.
🌱 the green beans with the miso aioli were delicious and perfectly cooked.
🍰 Lastly, the chocolate tart had a perfect balance, not too sweet, and nice it melded nicely with the toffee and nuts/sunflower seeds.

So many dishes here are gluten free and lots of vegetarian options. We also enjoyed the mocktails. We were completely stuffed having 5 dishes between the two of us. I would still recommend trying Oxbow.

Old review: A nice little restaurant in south Osborne. The dishes are small but are really good. Four to five dishes between two people was very filling. Worth trying again.

We had an excellent dining experience at Oxbow the other night. It is a cozy restaurant that feels down to earth and upscale at the same time. Small plates are served up along with unique wines and cocktails. The serving staff are knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Suggestions for wine paring are thoughtful and personalized. The food was so delicious. Don’t forget to end your dinner with some crème brûlée ! What a lovely evening :)

Had several great dishes. The vegan gnocchi was the best I've had. Very silky soft texture. Carrot dish was excellent. The chicken dish was the only one that wasn't amazing. Just didn't care for the harrisa flavor.

The food was excellent! The only disappointment with the food was that the chicken came out so much later than the two vegetable dishes we ordered. They tasted great all together, but wished the vegetables didn’t sit for 20 minutes before the chicken arrived. It seemed like it was forgotten about, although we were made to feel that it was our fault because we ordered two vegetable dishes and I guess they only serve two dishes at a time unless you request it differently. The main issue we had was with our server choosing to ignore us for most of the evening. It was very strange and kind of ruined the experience. Had the server checked in or even made eye contact with us we could have asked if the chicken was on its way. Great food, but not sure I’ll be back again.

Nice building and friendly staff, though the waitress wasnt around much. Despite that, she was still pleasant during our interactions.

Food prices are ridiculously high for what you order-- it's supposed to be shareable dishes but the portions are so tiny that sharing and feeling satiated afterwards is impossible unless you want to fork out $$$ for a ton of dishes. The food itself was overly salty.

Expect to leave unsatisfied.

The food was delicious, the tuna was amazing. Portion size were good. Desert I had was only ok (the creme brulee looked good). Drinks were good. Atmosphere was nice decor. Staff was excellent. If dessert was better i'd have given 5 stars.

The food was mediocre , and the service could have been better. Our server brought us the wrong dish, and instead of apologizing, he asked me to go over what I ordered and said something along the lines of “I’ll take your word for it” before bringing the correct one.

When one of the dishes was served, he knocked a spoon onto the table and did not offer to replace it.

It was especially disappointing because I was celebrating a special moment with a friend. Unfortunately, I would not return.

We stopped in for only a couple of drinks but it was near perfect. Great ambiance, great knowledge, only lagged slightly in getting me another drink… lol. The bartender seemed not only knowledgeable but interested in the wine. The arancini were impeccable. Just saying. We like to try these everywhere we go and anyone that offers them. These were probably the best I’ve had in a awhile.
