This little place is what I used to love as a restaurant. Small family run place. But this place is sad. The food was okay, but the wait to get it was stupid long. 2 sandwiches (triple decker and a Reuben) from when the order was placed was well over 30 minutes. We were the only people in the restaurant. There was no greeting upon our arrival or checking on us while we waited for our food. I will not be returning. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was good and the price was right! It has been years since we've been to Thunderbird, but glad we went!Parking: Nice that it is adjacent to a huge parking lot..

well, I have driven by this restaurant many times that I’ve always liked the well-worn drive-in look so today I decided to go in and order takeout. I had the bacon and cheese hotdog. Like most hotdogs in Winnipeg, it had chilli and onions and the usual toppings, but this one also came with lettuce and tomato on top of it. It was absolutely delicious. The chili was really good.
