“Wonderful experience at Alma. Beautiful restaurant with beautiful dishes and plate ware. The ambiance was divine.

We got tequenos, cauliflower, and hamachi. That was the best hamachi I ever had. It was sweet, tart, and salty. The yellow tail melted in my mouth. The Arroz con Chipi-Chipi reminded me of Paella. The Bienmasabe desert was tasty. It was sponge cake, coconut ice cream and chewy jellies for texture. The punch like a lady cocktail was refreshing not too sweet. Something about having it on the rocks took it over.
We were well taken by our servers.“

“I come here fairly frequently for breakfast and the food is always great. A little greasy sometimes but that’s no big deal since it’s so tasty and you can always just dab it with a napkin. Their cold brew is straight up the best I’ve had in the city. Something worth noting - the wait can be a little long during lunch time so I recommend ordering ahead.“

“These empanadas are SO good I drive from the other side of Baltimore to get them sometimes. I particularly recommend the chicken pesto and chorizo potato ones. They all have their names pressed into the edge of the empanada which is so cute and handy to differentiate them. Don't skip the sauce, it makes them even more yummy. The staff are very friendly and helpful too!

It can be a bit hard to find parking depending on the time of day, but that's how it is at cross street market and the empanadas are worth it. I've never had trouble finding a table to sit at.“

“I ♡ El Habanero!The location is a food truck parked at the Carroll Motor Fuels gas station at the intersection of Eastern Ave and Kane St. They no longer have a menu on the truck and now only serve tacos, which are super delicious and incredibly affordable.The kind man told us that they served beef, pork, and chicken tacos, so we got one of each meat - 3 tacos for $10 flat. BRING CASH. The kind people working also don't really speak any English, but the transaction and service was very simple and fast regardless. I am definitely going to go back whenever I get gas again (also, the gas at this station is usually the lowest on this street as well. Very convenient!)The taste of the tacos were very fresh, the salsas are strong and spicy and accent the cilantro and onions very well, all over a slightly chewy soft corn tortilla. 3 tacos is a perfect portion, but if you're really hungry, I would say go for 4. My favorite was definitely the beef taco.

Kid-friendliness: Well, I don't think they have a mean bone in their bodies.

Parking: You can just park in the gas station for a few minutes, it's fine. If you're really worried or the gas station is busy, you can just park at the nearby Wendy's or Home Depot and just walk literally one minute. You don't have to pay for parking here.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchairs, however, do note that it IS a food truck, so you might have to speak up.“

“I swear this is THEE BEST FOOD EVER! I am never disappointed. Chicken Rico has nothing on this place. The service is great as well as the menu quality and taste. Chicken Rico doesn’t always sell roasted potatoes. Inca Chicken ALWAYS has roasted potatoes and they are absolutely delish. I never have to add any additional seasonings to their food. I get the half chicken with Green Beans and potatoes and let me tell you it’s the BOMB! If you haven’t tried Inca Chicken…you don’t know what you are missing. “My daughters lived in student housing at UMB down the street from the New Lexington Market. Out of all the establishments there, we choose to try Tio G's. The food is often the chain. It will be one of our regular spots. Also, they are being on giving back to the community.“
