“We are there for the first time last night and I can say the food was absolutely amazing and the service was phenomenal. It’s a busy restaurant for obvious reasons, but the staff made the experience a great one. The owner Carlos was super nice and stopped by to say hello to us as we have a mutual friend. I would highly recommend checking this out!!“

“¡Qué restaurante tan encantador y delicioso! Aquí no se permiten alimentos envasados. Todo está cuidadosamente preparado con mimo e ingredientes reales. Patricia nos recibió calurosamente. Los camareros fueron atentos y serviciales incluso cuando el restaurante se cerró de golpe poco después de nuestra llegada. Es nuestro nuevo lugar al que acudir. ¡Esperamos volver pronto!“

“They are very friendly and provided everything we asked. The place was also clean, and there was plenty of space. There are a lot of options, and you can ask to customize things to your liking. My family loved the food. Not every place that serves pupusas knows how to make them good, but this restaurant is one of the few that do not disappoint.“

“This taco joint is the real deal. Family run. Homemade salsas, chicharon , hibiscus and horchata. Get the damn baliata(sp?) !! Ask for Chris up front and tell them Ray and Russell sent you. I’ve moved away from this place when I went there 2 times a week , and now they live rent free in my brain because I live in Towson without a car. I will see you again soon Ponchos ❤️💪🏽
This place does not play when it comes to tacos. Good things are worth waiting for , so be prepared to wait for excellence , or call your order in before youre on the way“

“I really enjoyed stopping by this small little gem. I ordered the steak queso birria tacos , and no consume was needed. Juicy steak with no fatty pieces and tortilla crisp to perfection. The red chicken tamale was good and spicy salsa sneaks up on ya. Grab a Dulce leche cake for dessert later. It’s worth it“

“If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Mexican food in Baltimore, Taqueria La Patrona is a must-visit! The tacos are packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of spice and texture. I tried the shrimp tacos, and they were absolutely amazing—crispy, flavorful, and topped with fresh salsa that made every bite perfect.
The prices are reasonable for the quality, and the portions are generous. The casual and welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. Service was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better.
Highly recommend this place if you’re a fan of authentic, flavorful Mexican cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“The staff was polite and the food came out very fast. There’s a lot of options on the build your own taco paper and they will also accommodate you if you don’t want any ingredient listed. Plus if it hadn’t been raining they have an outdoor covered seating area. It was just raining pretty bad when I visited.“

“Used to go to R&R when they were in a gas station in Elkridge. Hadn’t been since they moved downtown and all the Food Network hype in between. Just got some tacos and a California burrito at the Lombard Street location and was beyond pleasantly surprised. The flavors and quality of ingredients are still excellent. The staff were lovely, great service. I will be back :)“

“This poblano / krispy krunchy chicken location rules so hard. I stop in a few times a month and its walkways great. Everyone working is super nice and chill, the food is awesome, and when there’s anyone else in the sitting area it’s always really chill. If you order online make sure to double check the order when you pick it up, but they are super good of correcting any mistakes they make.“

“My partner booked one of Little Havana’s private rooms for my 40th birthday party and they were PHENOMENAL from start to finish. In the planning phase, they were SUPER flexible with how to structure how much food to put out, open bar/ticket/bar limit pricing, and bringing outside dessert options. During the event, the food was plentiful and SO good, we had use of an AV projector so my partner could display a sweet slideshow of pictures, and the bar staff absolutely could not have been more friendly and helpful. They were attentive throughout, the space was perfect, and everyone was raving about the party. We had a group of about 75 people and I would HIGHLY recommend booking a party of that size there again!“
“The place is very simple, a couple of tables don't look like a restaurant, the waitress is very attentive and the food is delicious ?????. You spend around 60 dollars for two people, the water is 7 dollars each, the price of the water seemed a little high to me. But the price of the food is worth it ? it's delicious ???.“

“Only reviewing food because I placed a takeout order. Had Pupusas de Revueltas, Frijól y Queso, Al Pastor Torta, Birria Tacos, a Tamal, and Plantains. All were delicious. Best Birria I've found in Baltimore so far. Al Pastor Torta was great, the only thing I'd change would be to add maybe some Queso Oaxaca. Pupusas were delicious. Cinco de Mayo better watch out because El Pueblito can make a name for themselves in Baltimore. Will eat again!“

“The only place that has actually kept their prices reasonable after the pandemic economic crisis. They don't overcharge you, and their cooks are not stingy with the food. The service is good, the restaurant is very quiet and the drinks are served in a huge jar 🍺. Their choice of Mexican dishes are healthy meals, freshly prepared dishes, decent portions, and great taste. This place is very undervalued. They also have a free parking lot across the street; truly a gem 👌🏼“

“Let me start by saying I know not another gringo on the planet that has gone tamale seeking with the same level of dedication as myself. In my five years in Baltimore I have tried tamales from dozens of spots in every neighborhood in the city.. simply put, This place has the best tamales in baltimore, maybe the east coast. There is a gas station off Buford highway in Atlanta that sells the only ones I can think of right now that compare. I’m sure there is more regional nuance to “Mexican” style tamales than I know of, but my basic understanding and experience particularly in baltimore has been with Mexican style tamales that are entirely corn based, versus Guatemalan tamales that use a rice flour with the corn mix that give them a more gelatinous texture. The Guatemalan style often comes wrapped in banana leaves versus corn husks like the Mexican. This spot sells the Mexican style, but are big, fat, fresh, spicy, and so moist they almost cross into the more Guatemalan style, but have the flavor profile of the entirely corn based “Mexican style” that I prefer. The Mexican style can only go bad if they are dry, these are the exact opposite. I prefer the verde chicken, but the red is great as well, and the traditional cheese and jalapeño also goes hard. For $4 per tamale, you might as well pick up all three and give each a shot… unless you’re looking for a quick lunch, in which case a can of soda and a single tamale comes to $5.50… This is my favorite five dollar lunch in baltimore city right here. Props to the charm city king of tamales straight out of the new Lexington market! I will be a regular popping in for a marginally healthy (all relative right?), top tier flavor, five buck lunch for years to come…“
