“FANTASTIC! I just tried a couple tacos on a whim from their truck at Taylor Ave and Loch Raven Blvd. and I'm very glad I did. I got the shrimp taco and the taco al pastor. Both were well crafted, the core proteins flavorful, the cheese, sauce and vegetables all extremely fresh, the shells hearty. The shrimp was especially fantastic, the seasoning didn't overpower its wonderful natural flavor, and the mild crumbled white cheese (queso fresco?) was a very nice compliment. The Taco al pastor was equally well made, and even more flavorful, with a unique blend of seasonings. While the seasoning wasn't my personal favorite, (slightly sweeter than I would like, though not extreme, with I think a little bit of cinnamon?) I was still happy to eat it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new flavor. Overall 5⭐ out of 5“

“I ordered brunch from here over the weekend and got the shrimp & grits. My food was delicious and the portions were big! While I was there someone else was picking up their food and they ordered a cheesesteak that looked so damn good! I’ll definitely be back for that. I won’t lie it’s not the cheapest brunch/lunch option BUT it’s definitely worth it AND it’s BLACK OWNED!“

“I dined there for the first time tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and perfectly decorated. The first two drinks that I got were absolutely amazing, as they were custom-made. We also tried a flight of tequila, which was also very delicious. We both got an entrée each, and got nachos and queso. It was all absolutely delicious. The waitress kept coming back to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening. It’s a busy restaurant for obvious reasons, but the staff made the experience a great one. The owner Carlos was super nice and stopped by to say hello to us as we have a mutual friend. “DMV Taqueria food truck is highly recommended! It’s smart to call in your order as they’ve grown in popularity as the word’s gotten out. My neighbor loves their chicken quesadillas. My favorite is the shrimp quesadillas, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. I understand the churros are a favorite too, though I’ve not personally tried them. The drive home is brutal. The food smells so amazing, I can’t park the car fast enough. 5⭐️“

“Cindy was very nice and helpful. I brought my friend who is a die hard chipotle fan and convinced him to be team qdoba. Everything is always fresh and the dining area is always clean. Staff is always on top of everything and I didn’t have to worry about food safety or cleanliness. Will be coming back soon !!“

“I've been meaning to try this truck for weeks & finally made it there on 9/17. El Taco Loco was worth the wait! I had the Asada, Chorizo & Pork Carnitas tacos. All 3 were yummy but the spicy Chorizo was my fave. At $5.00 each, the 3 corn tacos were a bit small but made for a tasty late-day snack. My only complaint was that there was no red salsa, guacamole & sour creama to top them with. The owner chef did garnish each taco with avocado slices, but plain avocado has no taste -- I need guacamole! There was also a tiny (1 teasp. worth!) container of green sauce that tasted of avocados & tomatillos, but it wasn't anough to apply to 3 tacos! yours truly likes her traditional OG taco toppings. But overall, what I had was Delicioso! I will definitely be back to El Taco Loco very soon to check out the rest of the menu.“

“I love Baja Fresh in general, and this place is A+. Employees are friendly, the place is clean, food is hot and excellent, so much better than other fast casual places that serve you Subway style. My only request is that somehow you bring back the Enchiladas Rojas trio especially around dinner time :-) Baja fresh is the only fast casual Mexican place that gives you enchies/burritos covered in sauce and they’re very good.“

“What a find! A friend and I were planning on going to another Mexican restaurant, but they were closed. We just happened to pass by this one and decided to take a chance, and we're so glad we did! The restaurant was bustling, but we had no problem finding a seat. The staff was friendly and helpful and the plates were huge, tasty and the prices were amazingly inexpensive. “Randomly driving through Timonium on our way back to PA we were looking for food. Fuentes showed with good reviews and we stopped. Now once a month (sometimes more) we drive an hour back to Timonium for amazing food. We’ve even brought family down here. The italian food is plentiful and tasty but the fish and shrimp tacos are our favorite. A lovely couple owns the place and they cook all the food and they’ve always been kind to us. “We ordered delivery from this place a number of times recently. The burritos are excellent. I like the wrapping and all the ingredients. We generally get chicken burritos, but have tried the beef as well. My wife likes the bowls and my son enjoys the quesadilla. I usually add the corn sauce, salsa, and the fajita veggies as well as the cilantro. The queso dip is also a favorite in our house. Highly recommend this place. Good value as the burritos are large enough for one person. Enjoy!“

“Over the past 6-months or so, I’m becoming a regular at Compadres restaurant and bar. The food has been excellent on several visits, and the staff and regulars are real nice. On this visit (Jan 2026), I was just stopping in for a quick brew before a long evening. I’ve known some of the staff here, so I knew I’d be comfortable. The bar staff remembered my usual drink, which is always a welcoming feeling. They have a full bar. And they remembered my favorite dish, which I’ve ordered here only once before! I love birria tacos, and they make a terrific recipe. It’s tender slow-cooked shredded beef with rich savory flavors too complex to know all the ingredients. The beef picks up the sweet smokiness of mild peppers, perhaps chipotle, deeply-marinated for hours with herbs that i will guess as cumin, thyme, and others, and caramelized diced onion. It’s loaded with some queso into a folded soft corn tortiila, which is soaked in the marinade, then pan or griddle-seared. Or maybe seared and then filled? Either way, it’s a deeply-colorful hand-held like a super-flavorful super-juicy quesadilla. This birria-dilla is served with a dark reddish consommé of all the flavors of the beef and the marinade, for dipping and dousing and generally risking your clothing to splashes, spills, and wild abandon. Compadres also served me freshly fried thin very-lightly-spiced tortilla chips with a zingy fresh chunky red salsa, and i realized that, without thinking, i was dipping the chips in that luscious consommé more than the salsa! I enjoy the food and the relaxed ambiance of this little place. They recently added a lovely terrifically-detailed mural by a local artist of a pueblo magico, a village of delicious food and good compadres. You know those friends who you always seem to visit at meal-time for a taste of whatever is simmering? These Compadres are those compadres.“
