“Malfi, Alex and the crew are amazing! I've known them since the mid 2000s when we all worked there at one point in time. Coming back today while i was close by sound some movie detailing work, it is great to see such a clean, well ran business and still holds down the fort! Malfi took my order, the service was very prompt and food was ready a minute after my arrival. Boy oh boy, I haven't had a burrito ultimo in a LONG time! Especially enchilado style! Super consistent. Warm bold sauce and cheese on top with a full and very fresh meal full of rice, veggies, baja salsa and all. Cravings fulfilled! Excellent service! “Randomly driving through Timonium on our way back to PA we were looking for food. Fuentes showed with good reviews and we stopped. Now once a month (sometimes more) we drive an hour back to Timonium for amazing food. We’ve even brought family down here. The italian food is plentiful and tasty but the fish and shrimp tacos are our favorite. A lovely couple owns the place and they cook all the food and they’ve always been kind to us. We hope to come here for many more years.“

“Love Taco Bravo. They have some of the best authentic Mexican food in town! We often order carryout since we live close by. My only suggestion is that they have someone organize their menu for an on-line presence. It is a little hard to view all items with just viewing an image of their menu.“

“Most authentic Mexican food truck in the area. Everything is made-to-order, so it will take a few minutes for your food, but it is well worth the wait.

“I dined there for the first time tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and perfectly decorated. The first two drinks that I got were absolutely amazing, as they were custom-made. We also tried a flight of tequila, which was also very delicious. We both got an entrée each, and got nachos and queso. It was all absolutely delicious. The waitress kept coming back to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening. “I've been meaning to try this truck for weeks & finally made it there on 9/17. El Taco Loco was worth the wait! I had the Asada, Chorizo & Pork Carnitas tacos. All 3 were yummy but the spicy Chorizo was my fave. At $5.00 each, the 3 corn tacos were a bit small but made for a tasty late-day snack. My only complaint was that there was no red salsa, guacamole & sour creama to top them with. The owner chef did garnish each taco with avocado slices, but plain avocado has no taste -- I need guacamole! There was also a tiny (1 teasp. worth!) container of green sauce that tasted of avocados & tomatillos, but it wasn't anough to apply to 3 tacos! yours truly likes her traditional OG taco toppings. But overall, what I had was Delicioso! I will definitely be back to El Taco Loco very soon to check out the rest of the menu.“

“This is a wonderful find — the food is home-cooked and delicious. They have a wide variety, including vegetarian options. They have a barbecue pit and make whole barbecue chickens. It smells wonderful when you walk in! They have family meals with all kinds of delicious sides to choose from. It’s a family and kid friendly restaurant … the burritos are delicious … the pupusas are delicious. And, the staff are very nice — warm, welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend!“

“250828 - By the time we reached Sparks, the muffins had begun to take effect; we were low on fuel, having come off the highway, aware wet were close to ‘Empty’ in unfamiliar country. Nervously looking for a gas station, ambling along our way back to Canada after a week in the capital. Some said we were brave to visit, we never minded, soaked it all in, we were just there to check on our American cousins, see how y’all were making out in a rather turbulent time. Loved the rolling countryside and gorgeous homes in the area - hmmm…a preserve of the ‘horsie set?’ we thought. Now, even lower on fuel, we caught the sign and stopped at TFS. We surveyed the place, quirky storefront and round the back which felt surprisingly, decidedly chill. Straightaway, we struck up a conversation with a friendly physical therapist, because we’re that kind of chatty. Had a spontaneous, lovely and wide-ranging chat including the whole family. A delicious milkshake, I think a cookie, and couple washroom breaks later, our new friend sent us on our way to the Exxon down the way and a nearby turnoff to get us back en route to the north land. Felt really good to meet a kind helpful soul along the way, the kind of people we wanted to show the kids, and we somehow knew we would certainly meet on our drive into NY, PA, MD, VA, DC. Now back in the land of the silver birch, home of Lord Stanley’s sport and the ‘double-double,’ I am just reading about your late friend Rosa and how much she’d touched you all and your beloved TFS :) Nice lil place. “Been going to holy frijoles regularly since 2011. While I’ll be honest, the food isn’t quite was keeps me coming back, the staff, service, drinks, pinball, and live music surely do! Food is inexpensive and not bad by any means, drinks are cheap and margaritas are tasty, however my biggest draw is the pinball room in the back. Check them out for live music, also!“

“FANTASTIC! I just tried a couple tacos on a whim from their truck at Taylor Ave and Loch Raven Blvd. and I'm very glad I did. I got the shrimp taco and the taco al pastor. Both were well crafted, the core proteins flavorful, the cheese, sauce and vegetables all extremely fresh, the shells hearty. The shrimp was especially fantastic, the seasoning didn't overpower its wonderful natural flavor, and the mild crumbled white cheese (queso fresco?) was a very nice compliment. The Taco al pastor was equally well made, and even more flavorful, with a unique blend of seasonings. While the seasoning wasn't my personal favorite, (slightly sweeter than I would like, though not extreme, with I think a little bit of cinnamon?) I was still happy to eat it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new flavor. Overall 5⭐ out of 5“

“Ordered delivery and they've really improved the quality of their food. There was a time between April and May that I felt like their food wasn't up to their usual standards. However, today, the food was phenomenal! The sopes were delicious, and I love their spicy salsa roja on the side. The quesabirria was fresh, crispy on the outside, with cheesy filling. Delicious!“

“I ordered brunch from here over the weekend and got the shrimp & grits. My food was delicious and the portions were big! While I was there someone else was picking up their food and they ordered a cheesesteak that looked so damn good! I’ll definitely be back for that. I won’t lie it’s not the cheapest brunch/lunch option BUT it’s definitely worth it AND it’s BLACK OWNED!“
