“Costiera is small, inviting, and absolutely worth a visit. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out as impeccable. The staff was attentive without ever hovering, quick with suggestions, and made us feel genuinely taken care of.

When we walked in, there were two tables available right away, but they asked if we’d mind waiting just a minute so they could seat us at a much better window table. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way these days, and we really appreciated it. Our server checked in often, was kind, and gave fantastic recommendations that made us feel like we ordered the very best of the menu.

The food was excellent across the board. The pasta was perfectly cooked and tasted even better than it looked. The octopus was a standout dish—tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything we tried was balanced, well-executed, and memorable.

“The store was going through some pretty bad technical difficulties with their kiosk and online orders, but my online order seemed to get through. The staff were extremely professional with handling the already paid orders. I've also come in on other days and they always do a spectacular job.“

“Banana House is a small deli located in a retail shopping strip near the intersection of Dolfield Avenue and Cold Spring Lane in northwest Baltimore. It is situated next doer to the famous Hairmasters Barber Shop. The store is clean. Like many small delis in Baltimore. the walk-in customer service area is very narrow and partitioned off from the cooking area with plexiglass. There is limited seating. Staff were very cordial and friendly. The food was prepared in a timely fashion. The lake trout and french fries was very good. I enjoyed the special meal which came with a drink. I will return. I give this Baltimore deli a rating of 5 .“

The staff here were the most pleasant and helpful people I have ever experienced at a restaurant -and this was fast food. I ordered the 12 party wings with mild flavor and an 8-inch grilled chicken sub, and everything was absolutely amazing. The wings were cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. And the grilled chicken sub? Super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with delicious toppings.

I love that the vegetarian options are vast and the space is so quaint and homey. They have art work on every wall that really brings together the beautiful interior design.

I had the pumpkin pad with tofu and my partner had the wild pork. From the moment our server brought out the dishes, the aromatic spices and flavors filled the room.

The pumpkin pad was so delectable. Tasting as if the pumpkin had been marinated in the sauce. They cooked the pumpkin so well also! It was not firm or rubbery, but soft and delicate. The pumpkin melted in my mouth.

My partner was very satisfied with his wild pork and said the vegetables were tender with the right crunch and the marinade of the pork was culinary perfection.
