“OUTSTANDING on all counts. This is now our favorite seafood place. Chics has been around forever. I've previously purchased raw product to being home and prepare but had not eaten in the restaurant until just recently. What a mistake to wait!! 4 adults, 1 child. Server was terrific. We had crab dip with Naan bread for appetizer and the crab pretzel. Holy cow the pretzel was huge!! 2 ordered NY strip with crabcakes. The steak (mine was medium well) was terrific. Very tender and juicy. The crabcakes are phenomenal! Huge lumps of crab. Not a lot of filter. Seasoned and fried perfectly!. Stuffed founder was another entrée. Tender flaky buttery fish with a delicious filling of crab. The big order at the table went to my 89 yr old momma who got a captains plate!! It was ginormous! And she loved every single bite. Oh and let me mention the fried scallops... divine!! Take a fat wallet bc your going to want to try everything!!“

“Let us start off by saying, Thank you Lord for allowing us to have our daughter's Sweet 15th Quinceañera at this restaurant and event room. The experience my family encountered during this celebration couldn't have been better! The owner Mr.Luis and his amazing team of servers went above and beyond to make this important beautiful event for our daughter's Quince. Everything went so smooth with having tables nicely setup, food being served right on point at the perfect time, delicious fresh authentic italian food, the service was spectacular! Anything we needed they provided with care. Everyone here was so kind and caring like no other place in Hagerstown. We can not Thank everyone enough for the outstanding service we experienced yesterday that was just the Icing on the cake for our princess special celebration. “I can't say THANKS enough! My family moved from Maryland in 2004 to Michigan (no fresh seafood other than whitefish). My family was in Hagerstown for a wedding. My daughter and I decided it was the perfect time to have crabs. I went to Potomac Seafood Market because of their reviews! I am so glad I did. I got 2 dozen of males #1 (hot from the pot) and 1 dozen of females for my daughter to try (cold). She also wanted some clams. We sat out on the porch of our brother-in-laws house and chowed down. It was so good! It was the first time in a long time having fresh cooked crabs. I have done mail order in the past.I want to thank everyone at Potomac Seafood Market for a wonderful meal and excellent service! It was incredible. When I am in Hagerstown, I will be stopping by! I promise! (I may have my brother-in-law pick me up some when he comes in the summer from you!)“

“Updated experience 3/14/24- eat at the bar if going for lunch. the main dining server makes the experience odd and uncomfortable. she forgets to offer bread, salt and pepper and you will not get a drink refill. She may be experiencing burnout.OVERALLL... I STAND BY MY 2023 REVIEW! ITS....A solid experience!“

“Delicious and great prices!!! Don't be fooled by the small appearance from the outside. Come inside to find a spacious, nicely decorated restaurant with lots of seating. Definitely not cramped. The menu is amazing. Lots to choose from for the whole family. The food tasted delicious and fresh. The food came out in decent amount of time and the service was great. The waitress was great at explaining the menu options. Great place for a date, family night out or a meet up with friends. Highly recommend this place for the food and ambiance.“

“This is one of the best hole in the wall spots to be out here. And I hope this place thrives. Best fucking catfish I ever had other then my mama's deep fried catfish . The sides were so complimenting to the main part of the dish. Seasoned to perfection. . Way better then any place in Hagerstown tbh I've ate everywhere so I know. “The food is great, ESPECIALLY the salads. They are the most beautifully plated, perfectly portioned, and tasty salads I’ve ever had. The manager, Ty, is very good at his job, kind and professional. The owner, Tess, is Nick’s daughter and gives the family restaurant the liveliness it deserves. Live piano music soothes your ears while the food warms your soul.Vegetarian options: There was a quinoa bowl.“

“We moved away from the area back to Frederick but still continue to get our crabs here. They can’t be BEAT for price and quality. Got some nice, sweet, heavy Mother’s Day females here. The seasoning is perfect, the prices are more than fair and the service is friendly and helpful. The crabs are steamed just right, you can easily get meat even out of the tiny legs. They are never overdone! These guys know how to run a great crab truck operation and get Kudos all the way around! Thank you guys, we’ll definitely be back for more this summer! ?“

“Myself, and my housemate have been attending for over a year, 1-3 times a week (at the minimum). Each and every time, they greet us, remember our consistent orders, and the atmosphere they create is amazing. From the cleanliness to the staff always checking in and up on us and everyone around us, this is a 5 star establishment. No one I know, nor myself, have ever had a complaint about the food or quality of dish cleanliness, rude staff, etc.I could not recommend this restaurant any more highly to anyone who wants good cuisine or a consistent experience. IF by chance, you ever had an issue, you can expect it to be resolved immediately and with a smile on the employees faces.5 stars all around.“

“The Lobster Tail was tenders and very Juicy. Taste was exceptional, even the biscuits were great. Seems like they just came out of the oven. The only suggestion I have is that the pilaf rice was undercooked, just a little more time needed to make it perfect. Everything else was awesome!“

“Had a wonderful dinner this evening. The ribeye steak was done to perfection. The jumbo lump crab cake was full of lump crabmeat, and NOT filler. The baked potatoe melted in your mouth. The ceasar salad is the BEST i have ever had. The chocolate lava cake with ice cream was a Great dessert to top of our wonderful meal. Our waitress was polite and on time with everything. They deserve more than a 5 star. Would highly recommend them.“
