First thing I ordered was the expresso martini, and it was one of the best expresso martinis I had. Our bartender Ron was a joy. He was awesome and made our visit 10xs better. He recommended all the best dishes, and was very patient with us while we were ordering. The whole staff was super friendly. The food was just amazing as service. Started off with some meatballs, tuna bites, and wood fired oysters. I did not take pictures unfortunately since I was hungry and dug in immediately. The meatballs were amazing and would recommend anyone to order those if visiting. They come with 3 meatballs so heads up. Personally I'm not a seafood person but I did enjoy the tuna bites. For the main course ordered the house pizza, the Penne alla vodka pasta, and the bolognese pasta. Personally those were all amazing and I couldn't tell you which one I enjoyed most. I mean, how often do you get to have some of the best hotdogs and brats you'll ever have, plus the flavor combinations for what they put on it has a food connoisseur like myself tearing up with joy. I had a bratwurst on 3 slightly toasted Hawaiian rolls with grilled onions, coleslaw (instead of kraut), and mustard. Wife had the cowboy with beef hotdog, cheese sauce, BBQ sauce, and topped with crushed fried onions. All I could say is wow that was really good food, and the service was awesome too. “I’ve loved Sunshine burgers since I was a kid, my dad used to bribe us to help him at work and reward us with these burgers. We’d be here at 6 AM when they opened ordering bacon cheeseburgers LOL. After coming back more than a decade later, the burgers still hit the same. I will say I prefer getting them when they aren’t as busy, because when I recently went I wish it was cooked just a little less. Their pickles and bacon make the burger so crunchy and good. They don’t have fries but you can get a bag and chips to enjoy with it. They also have hot dogs and breakfast foods. I am a pescetarian now, but if any of my friends tell me they’re going…. I may reconsider. Looking forward to my next sunshine burger.“

I ordered bacon, cheese, onions, mayo, and tomatoes. I paid and waited about 4 minutes after paying. It seemed as if my burger and fries were being made to order. OMG! I did not mind after opening the wrapper. My burger looked like it was professionally wrapped by Santa's #1 elf. The burger was tall and not compressed. The bun was warm and moist. When I saw the cheese, I knew they had just made it for me. The cheese was warm but still had it's square shape. I could see every ingredient without lifting the bun. It was beautiful. I took a bite, and it was pur perfection! The burger was juicy and tender. The onions were crisp and gave texture. The mayo and cheese kept everything together and mild the punch of the onions. The fries were also good, crispy, and smooth on the inside. Everything was fresh and hot. I don't even like fast food, but this is the best I've ever had. Checkers' new model should be, "We might be slower, but we are the best fast food you will ever have!" I will gladly wait to get another burger like that. I plan on going back tomorrow.
