Interestingly, we found Alizee’s dining room empty at 6pm on a Friday. As a result, acoustics were horrible. The restaurant’s floors and walls consist of tile, so the noise coming from the bar and lobby create an echo chamber. The restaurant installed lots of tacky green hedges in an attempt to counteract the effect; however, it doesn’t work.Our server also doubled as the bartender. Overall I was unimpressed, very disappointed. We decided to try it because it was restaurant week. A friend of mine ordered the crab deviled eggs and the crab wasn’t placed on her app and it was bought out in a condiment cup instead. Eggs were under seasoned and had way too much Dijon mustard. I ordered fries as an additional starter with the contingency upon malt vinegar being available it was bought out and inedible because it is expired (pictured below). Food was just okay. I wish 3.5 was an option as a rating. I Took my staff here for a dinner retreat. Our server was very nice and helpful. The food & drinks however, were just "ok". Presentation, I'd say was the strongest attribute, but flavor seemed to be an issue for all of my colleagues across the board. One person had to send the steak back be because it was cold.
