Cons: Our server was brand new and didn't know the menu or policies well so that impacted our ability to order things (but once we figured things out, the food was fantastic) and her serving skills were mediocre at best. She kept asking if we wanted more to order despite seeing we hadn't finished our course (we ordered a lot of crabs). Then when we needed her she was nowhere to be found. She brought our check before we were close to done. Felt rushed even though she said no rush she came back 3 times to check if we put our cards down.

8/29 - So, I frequented this place several times and in my previous review above, I noted the tasty fried fish--sadly on my most recent visit the fish was below unremarkable. I ordered the fish basket and just as I had the time before my last visit and even on that visit it was subpar--bit I gave them one last chance. On both of my last visits, the fish was nothing like it was on previous meals. Far below ordinary--barely spiced, nothing unique about the breading--disappointing as were the fries which on my initial visits were fried crispy and delicious. I will say the service is much better, but I am never going back to this place. I am downgrading my review to five stars to one.

While the food was exceptionally good and the atmosphere was great, the server we had was rude, which did not make a difference to her because the tip of 18% was automatically included on the bill (it does state this on the menu). However, that being the case, there is no incentive for them to care or provide exceptional service. The service was the major downfall to this business. There is a place on the bill for you to provide an extra tip, however, with the service we received, that was not going to materialize! I usually leave a 20% - 25% tip, however, not in this case. I would highly suggest management provide some type of incentive for proving exceptional service!!

First time here.... love love the food! I cannot stop thinking about the oysters and my seafood boil. The potatoes were hard, could have cooked a little longer. They were busy w/ a wait, so my friend and I went to the bar.
Food could use some more seasoning it was actually pretty bland. Only seen our waitresses twice and the second time we had to flag her down. They sell out of crabs quickly if you are going for crabs make sure you get there early
