While some may be bothered by the lack of lids for to-go drinks, it is encouraged to take a moment to enjoy the beverage before leaving. Doppio Pasticceria is known for its fantastic pastries and now also offers pizza and meatball subs. The pizza is the best with really really great sauce. The fig pizza was really good. The arancini are a must. The cassatina, a sponge cake filled with cannoli cream, wrapped in pistachio marzipan and topped with candied citrus, is a standout. The arancini, bombolini, chocolate rye cookies, and olive cake—spongy with orange aroma—are also highly recommended. The espresso soda is delicious and a new favorite drink. The vanilla cream soda was good too. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and relaxing with great vibes and beautiful morning sunshine. It can be pretty slow on busy days.
