Way overpriced for what you get. I was pushed into the tasting menu, which was comprised of portions way too small for the price. Was hungry again by the time I got home.

It’s more like a museum or a gallery, where you see great decor and cool menu items. You can have a taster of the cool items, but just a taste. After all, this is foraged.I’m not sure if people are meant to leave here full after spending $100pp but I immediately left to go get a couple slices of pizza. What’s the point of a restaurant where portions are so small you literally have to eat after?

I’ve been waiting a very long time to eat at Foraged and the food did not disappoint. Truly delicious and creative from start to finish. Our server wasn’t the most knowledgeable so we ended up proactively reaching out to other servers for help, all of whom were lovely and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back. The super fresh and creative cuisine more than made up for our servers incompetence. Highly recommended overall.

So this dinner left a lot to the imagination. If we had realized that hyper seasonal meant extremely small portions, my friends and I may have chosen a different restaurant. Didn't capture and any pictures as nothing looked wow enough to make any of us pull out our cameras. If you want the experience then go for it. If you want an actual meal, go elsewhere. That said, some of the food was seasoned but most of it had very little flavor. We tried 3 of the Pork dish from the Pig section of the menu. All 3 of us thought the Socket was the best option and had the best flavor. The Ears ended up being too salty from the ranch seasoning and the belly, although cooked well, had no flavor to make it enjoyable. The beet salad lacked a good portion of greens and had no dressing but the beets and cheese/cream that came with it were delightful, peach chutney was the best part of the sour corn cakes. The scallops were okay. The duck breast with mierpoix was also okay. The oyster dish was also just okay. All the food that wasn't supposed to be cold was lukewarm. I have yet to come across a restaurant that prides in serving lukewarm food to diners. The highlight was their red wine. The Rioja was the winner of our table. As I mentioned, if you want the experience of eating super seasonal food, try it but if you want flavor and an actual meal with decent proportions go to another restaurant.

We went there for the Baltimore restaurant week, and we ordered a three-course meal for $45 per person, and a $12 focaccia to share. The six pieces of focaccia were the only edible thing we had, but it took an hour for the main dishes to come out. The lamb neck was 80% fat, the steak had no seasoning, the potato on the side was raw and cold, the scallops were tiny- a quarter size, the side of asparagus was tough, and the catfish was small and dry. We were so hungry and disappointed, but we hoped the dessert would be better. However, we were wrong. The dessert was a disaster. My boyfriend ordered the carrot cake, and he bit into a thick and hard piece of toffee that cracked his tooth, and we were shocked and angry. We told the waitress, who went to get the shift manager. He came and looked at the tooth, but he said he did not know what to do. He left to talk to another manager, and we waited for another 15 minutes. She came and said the same thing, and gave us an email address to contact the upper management. She did not apologize, offer any compensation, or fill out any incident report. She acted like it was not a big deal, and she just wanted us to leave.I was shocked by how uncaring and insensitive the staff were. After we reported our incident, none of the employees showed care about it. After we paid the meal on the way out, we saw our waitress and two of the managers. The only thing they said was to have a good night repeatedly. No one even cared about how we were doing, or showed any empathy for the incident. We came here with high expectations because of the JB nominee and the Google review. I will give this place two stars for the overpriced food. Zero stars if I can for the customer service and impersonal dealing with the incident. The reason I wrote here was to warn people who want to have a great local food experience - look somewhere else.

Our waiter Sam was beyond pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu and how everything worked. He was attentive to our table.. Please pay attention to your waiter because their menu can be off putting if you don't come with an open mind. Forage offers very small portions but with good flavors. The atmosphere was really laid back. I just wish they offer more for the price given and the animal parts provided are considered to be some of the cheapest parts of the animal. Our overall bill came $150.

The novelty of the menu was interesting and fun. The portions were small to facilitate the sampling of a variety of dishes. I’m not really a “foodie” but everything was delicious and exceptionally presented, aside from the beef short ribs - which were tasty but tough. The atmosphere was great with an attentive and friendly staff. A great experience!Parking: Easy & safe to park for $5 (cash) directly across the street.

I really liked it here. I like that everythingnus fresh and locally sourced, and that when you get the course meal you have options to choose from for each course. I had the mushroom stew, it was INCREDIBLE. I honestly wasn’t a fan of the duck breast. It came iut looking beautiful but I didn’t like something about the taste, and the other things/sauces on the plate altogether made it too sweet for me. The pot de creme was also incredible.

Excellent meal, especially for more adventurous eaters. Foraged is a nose-to-tail restaurant that sells rarer parts of the pig: ear, heart, face, kidney, etc. depending on what they have for the day. Don’t skip the cocktails—they’re some of the best I’ve had. The service was also excellent; the waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The pig parts meet diners halfway between the conventional and the strange. If you ate everything while blindfolded, you would think you’re eating beef jerky and pork belly. The pickles were much needed to break up the monotony of pork. I sometimes wish there was more going on flavor-wise, but everything felt well-executed according to the chef’s vision. The mushroom “crab cake” was a shockingly good rendition. It totally gives the vibe of a crab cake while being more flavorful than a real crab cake I had on this trip.Portions are on the smaller side. I’d recommend three dishes per person, with some bread and possibly dessert to fill up.Overall, highly recommended. The restaurant might be a bit on the pricier side for Baltimore, but it’s worth it to try something different, perhaps for a special occasion.

All around wonderful experience, we got the five course tasting menu, everything was delicious and unique and interesting. Service was attentive, the wine pairings were delicious and not too much wine. I love the mushroom themed decor.
