“The host was so kind and warm-hearted! I came here with my friend and the energy was incredible. We were just walking around and happened to stumble upon the restaurant and were greeted by everyone. “Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. We were one of two couples who dined in, but looks like they have a busy takeout business. So glad they didn’t disappear in the pandemic like so many other places! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!“

“I had an issue with my order from GrubHub that unfortunately led to me not receiving it but the manager called me two days later to let me know he was out for a couple days and was so sorry to hear about my troubles. He immediately offered to fix it and sent me the food I had been waiting on free of charge. He really made me feel better about the situation and like he cared. I have never had someone show me that level of concern for my issue. All my friends recommend this place, and I am happy to say that I do as well.“

“This is not a dine-in place, but IS a hidden gem in Pikesville. It's hidden at the button of an apartment complex. As they're Nepalese, they offer some dishes that are not on all Indian menus.

Their delivery is also quick. I tried this place on a whim, and they did not disappoint.

I haven't had any of their American, Chinese, or other fare, however.

“By far the best food and service in Baltimore! I always come in for the lunch buffet and the food is DELICIOUS! A lot of options and sometimes there is this special desert that is this doughnut drizzled with honey(?) which I love, and always have it with the complimentary Nepalese milk tea. Great options for vegetarians too.“

“Finally found my go to dining spot in Towson: Kathmandu did not disappoint. Manoj, owner's nephew, provided excellent service. Everything I ordered was pretty delish: veggie pakora, chicken soup and chicken gorkhali. Particularly loved the flavoring and spices of gorkhali, and sliced ginger pieces make each bite that much nicer. This will be a repeat dining spot for my Towson business stays. Highly recommend this place to anyone that likes Nepalese and Indian cuisine as many of their dishes are a crossover from Indian food.“

“I was informed of the opening of Family Kitchen Restaurant, by the Uber driver. This delighted me As I enjoy Indian/ Nepalese food. I have not been disappointed. There is a great spread for those trying the great meals for the first time, as they have a daily buffet My friends of all Ethnic backgrounds enjoy the food here.
