Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. My husband found this place after work one day and I’m so glad that he did! We moved to the area from Cincinnati where we were spoiled by amazing Indian Restaurants. This place is right on par with the high standards we are used to. We haven’t had a disappointing dish yet!
I stopped in here with my family and we adored everything. We got the Chef's Combo Sampler veggie appetizer platter, and everything was delicious (I particularly loved the Aloo Tikka). My family is vegetarian, and the selection was fantastic for us. We each loved our individual meals. The service was excellent, and everything was brought with a smile. This place is twenty minutes from home, with dozens of Indian restaurants between us and them. I'll still be returning here!

Based on the reviews, Mount Everest Restaurant and Bar offers absolutely fantastic food. The Mt Everest chicken tikka special, Chana gobi, Chicken Tikka Masala, Momos, Chicken Chilli, Chicken Chow Chow, samosas, and Mango Lassi are all highlights. The atmosphere is fancy yet cozy, with original brick walls, a tin ceiling, and paintings. The gentle atmosphere allows for conversation and enjoyment of the food. This family-owned restaurant is highly recommended over all others in the city. The cocktails are tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant also caters events, with food arriving perfectly packaged and on time. The delicious and perfectly seasoned food is more than plenty for two people.
