About Indochine Vietnamese Restaurant

Indochine Vietnamese Restaurant is a cozy eatery located in Mt. Vernon. The restaurant features a small front dining area and a larger back space that can seat up to 50 people. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including Pho Bo noodle soup, spring rolls, and Spicy Beef Vietnamese soup (bun bo hue). The food is flavorful, with highlights like peanut sauce and hot sauce. The restaurant is well known for its long slow-cooked bone broth, which infuses the soup with bone marrow flavor and doesn’t make diners thirsty, unlike other places. The fried shrimp rolls and garden rolls are popular choices, with the garden rolls being neatly rolled and fresh, often with shrimp only. The peanut sauce is rich, thick, and topped with pieces of peanuts. The pho is highly recommended, often described as rich, flavorful, warm, and inviting, with plenty of fresh toppings. The bun bo hue is praised for its multifaceted flavors and just the right spice level, allowing the taste of the food to shine through. Service is friendly and consistent, with staff always welcoming and checking on guests often. The ambiance is casual, and the restaurant offers generous portions at reasonable prices, making it a good spot for quick, casual dining or Vietnamese cravings.

We are always happy to find quaint pho places because they are usually hidden gems. Indochine did not disappoint!! My goodness was it good and perfect. We both got the pho steak and brisket, summer shrimp rolls, and a pork bahn mi. It was all stellar, some of the...read full review
One of the most incredible Vietnamese meals I’ve ever had. Do not pass this up if you’re in Baltimore.
