Food is always great
Kimmy's Restaurant & Carry Out offers a variety of soul food and breakfast options. This restaurant is well-loved, with customers expressing their affection for the food, claiming they never tire of it. Many enjoy the tasty grits, pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The scrapple egg and cheese sandwich remains a popular choice, although some feel the scrapple could be thicker. The menu also features crinkle cut fries, which some appreciate for being less seasoned, catering to those with salt concerns. The buffet includes favorites like Mac N cheese, tuna macaroni, and turkey legs with gravy. The food is described as fresh, and the atmosphere is pleasant, featuring clean facilities and courteous service. For special occasions, like New Year meals, the offerings such as greens, black-eyed peas, turkey wings, and cornbread are highlighted as delicious. Overall, Kimmy's provides a satisfying dining experience for those seeking traditional southern-style dishes.
