This was my first time here. I was at first hesitant because there were several really sketchy characters in the parking lot. Inside, though, the store was well-lit and organized. It seemed like everything was on sale -- there were so many sale labels! Everything I had on my grocery list was available and I was in and out pretty quickly. I didn't see many workers but the ones I encountered were perfectly fine.

This place used to be a lot worse but after a badly-needed renovation is now fairly ok. It's in a pretty tough area and gets a lot of unsavory customers (I've definitely seen someone arrested here presumably for shoplifting more than once) but is usually well-stocked with all the standard stuff and a good amount of variety. Their organic selection is much better than Streets in downtown and the prices are pretty reasonable. Customer service is so-so but most of the time unnecessary...read full review
