It was my mom's 106th birthday dinner with her family. quiet and relaxing dinner we were welcomed served and checked on. the food was hot and excellent served in timely manner! we could not ask for a better service and food and quality for the prices. we chose mt. vernon as hunt valley location can be on the noisy side. it's so peaceful in this location. compliments to the chef server and bus boy too. as always thank you too sammy! with love
Food was great and service was a bit confusing as it was a changing team of people waiting on us. All were nice, but at times there was confusion as to if they had given us the bill or not. Still much better than hunt valley location.
Had a disappointing experience at Sammy's. Our table of four waited over 45 minutes for our entrees. Our server was sympathetic and apologized twice, even mentioning that two other tables were also experiencing long delays. Unfortunately, no one else on staff acknowledged the situation. The food itself was fine, although the entree for our kid (simply pasta with butter) was way too buttery. Our table was in the basement, which was far less enjoyable than the main dining room....
