Closing time was posted as 9pm online and on sign on door. I arrived at 8:40 and both doors were already locked. I knocked and the three employees there just pretended like they couldn’t see me. I then tried calling and no one would answer. I knocked again and a girl finally came over. I asked “are you guys closed early for some reason? Your sign says you close at 9 but your doors are already locked.” She said “yes we close at 9. But we it’s depends on what you want...read full review

Starbucks inside the Southside Marketplace sits next to Chipotle and shares a private parking lot. The shop has no outdoor seating or drive‑through, but the inside has plenty of seating, a cozy atmosphere, and a nice vibe for work or relaxing. Mobile orders are common and service is always fast. Drinks are right and coffee always comes out just the way it is liked.
The medium hot mocha latte with almond milk is executed perfectly and quite tasty. Good ambiance, friendly service, and a strong sense of community create a refreshing start to the day. Pricing is slightly more elevated than Dunkin. The location is small; space is tight after the Light Street store closed. It is not the cleanliest place, but coupons and birthday free drink rewards are honored quickly.
Chai frappuchinos were barely flavored at other spots, but here the flavor is strong. A “nice lady” remade a drink with 8 full pumps of chai, too strong and much darker than usual. A later visit with 5 pumps was perfect. The shop is busy, yet the drink and breakfast sandwich were ready eight minutes after ordering.
The summer Berry Lemonade was delicious, but bubbles were not bubbling normally. A mist o sweet with pistachio flavor arrived ready quickly, but was distinctly not very sweet because it was not stirred. Adding Stevia made it undrinkable. The Harris Teeter Starbucks handled the issue better.
