The orange chicken was old and dry and the lo mein noddles had an old taste tothem as well. Dont eat from here food is out dated and nasty. I called them to let them know about the old food and they said it was fresh and kept saying it as if it was going to make it true.

I got the orange chicken with fried rice and lomein, it was so awfull, they should shut that place down. The food was very old and tasted like it also. My dog wouldn’t eat it. The noodles were so soft, like they were sitting in water all day. Do not order from them, they sell old food and try to put sauce on it so it’ll throw off the bad tast. They use to have better food but now all they have is garbage.

I was worried because of the 4 star average (that can mean very different levels of quality in Baltimore) but this place serves great Chinese takeout at a great price. Veggies were perfect stir fry texture, not too soft or raw. Everything I ordered was good and what I expected; got spring rolls (2 per order), crab Rangoons, large egg drop soup, large veg fried rice, and Szechuan chicken (comes with small white rice) all for $33. It was ready quickly, although they did not confirm the order on Grubhub (it was probably ready before Grubhub/Yelp said so). There is no longer real inside seating; tables are blocked off by chairs. The young man at the counter was polite. I will come back when I get a hankering for Chinese again.

Sunny Carry out has been my "go to" place for Chinese carryout for some time, but my most recent experience was so bad I have to post this negative review. I ordered through my phone. The order was the House special Lo Mein, Hot and sour soup, spring rolls, and the Chicken Teriyaki combination, which comes with Chicken Teriyaki, your choice of white or fried rice, and an egg roll. Their menu, both on the phone and their printed menu at their business, clearly states that the Combo plates comes with "Egg Roll & Fried or White Rice" with a price of $9.25. When I arrived to pick up my order, they told me that they had included White Rice rather than Fried Rice. I asked them "why?" They told me that the Fried Rice cost $2 extra. I told them that's not what the menu says, but they insisted it was $2 extra, so I grudgingly paid the $2 extra in case. When I got home and unpacked our food, I saw that there were no Spring Rolls in the bag. When I opened my Chicken Teriyaki meal, I discovered that it was Beef, not Chicken. And the beef was so overcooked it was inedible. I called them on all of the above, and all they said is that they would give me a $3.00 credit on my next order. The explanation regarding the Beef vs. Chicken was frankly nothing that made any sense to me. So, in summary, I was overcharged, didn't get one of the items I paid for, and got the wrong meat in my Combo meal. And I'm sure I'll never get the $3 credit. I will go back to Sunny, but from now on I'll be ready to dispute any added charges by showing them their own menu, and I will completely unpack my order bag to ensure that a) everything is in the bag, and b) I will open the containers to ensure I'm getting exactly what I ordered. Very disappointed in their lack of attention, lack of service, and overcharging.

My coworkers and I made a huge list of items to order and we called to clarify the cash only and for pickup or delivery. The lady who answered the phone was so rude yelling, upset because we asked for clarification then hung up on me. This was at 11:35am on 7/17/23, this interaction was on speaker phone and she definitely caused the business to lose clientele from a large corporation. - God Bless her

I am really unsure how EVERYTHING I got could be so terrible. Pepper steak= like chewing bubble gum. Honey chicken= hard as a rock. General taos= very similar to honey chicken, hard as a rock but smaller pieces. Sweet n Sour chicken= no flavor but atleast you can chew it. Fried rice= very bland. Extremely disappointed and wasted $50. No one in my family of 4 ate this food accept to taste it. I guess if I had to recommend anything it would be the egg rolls but I just suggest you pick another place unless you like anything you order to taste like jerky.
