I came here with an acquaintance for brunch on Saturday. There were maybe less than 20 people in the restaurant. It’s a small space which makes it more intimate. The food was ok. The only think I really liked was the fried chicken deviled eggs and French toast. I didn’t care for the fried grits. Service was very slow despite there weren’t many people in there. We had to ask if the food was still coming. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The chef also accommodated me with an extra fried grits which I didn’t care for; however, I appreciated the nice gesture. I will give this place another chance to try the lunch options.

Took my friend to this place because my first time I enjoyed it. However the waitress got our order wrong and when asked about it she was very dismissive. I asked for the manager and she sent someone else to deal with the issue who did not want to hear what we had to say. I went back explained to the manager what occured and she apologized and said the waitress was new but never adjusted our bill. So we paid for what we did not order. Needless to say, how this issue was dealt with I will not be returning.Parking: In a residential area so finding parking can be problematic.

My absolute favorite brunch spot, probably one of the best in Baltimore. A genuine pigtown gem ... The food is hearty, satiating, and decadent... Not to mention affordable. Service is even better, it's like they could read my mind when I needed something. And the atmosphere is so cozy, it's like visiting family. Seriously y'all if you don't visit you're missing out. ?

I was in town over the weekend & I always try to support black owned establishments. We went on a Saturday morning and were seated right away. The music was too loud & we asked to turn the volume down on several occasions & the request was ignored! The eggs were cooked the wrong way & were cold. The tea cup was too small for $5.00. The potatoes were tasty the one slice of toast was good. It's unlikely that I'll return or recommend this restaurant!

Visited on a Sunday for brunch with my family, all of us loved our food. Their fried lamb chops looked good that my brother had. The staff was nice and welcoming

What a gem! Food was amazing, staff were lovely, and such a cool vibe. EAT HERE NOW!!!The French toast was the best I have ever had, ever. Didn’t even need any syrup or additional toppings. Fried catfish was beautifully cooked and so crispy. Grits cakes were flavorful and tender. Waffle was delicious and elevated with beautiful additions of spices and toppings. Our server Jessica was so kind and attentive and we were able to meet the chef who was wonderful. A fantastic experience- will definitely be back ❤️❤️

I went with 2 friends for brunch. Jessica was great as she answered our many questions?. Each of us had something different , and each really enjoyed the food. Definitely try the fried chicken deviled eggs. Our taste buds were pleasantly surprised.

The carrot tuna was absolutely incredible. I’m not a vegan, but I always love trying interesting plant-based options and this sandwich was so satisfying, flavorful and delicious!

Absolutely delicious food and a gorgeous interior. Be sure to check out the jewelry for sale in the front, and order the fried chicken deviled eggs. You'll thank me.

Great food and people. Enjoyed a delightful birthday brunch. Chef Heather and her sister, Sam, made our visit one to remember. Food was well-seasoned, served hot and the portions were generous. The artwork and background music gave a smoothed out neo soul/jazzy vibe. We felt welcomed and appreciated and delighted to engage with Chef Heather. We will definitely be back.

On my lunch break I decided to give this place a go. Man I wish I knew of this place sooner. I got the chicken and waffles. 5/5! The waffle was so light and crisp. The chicken cooked to perfection. Nice jumbo wings seasoned well. I can’t remember my servers name because I was so distracted by how great the food was. Thank you guys I’ll be back again.
