The Buttonwood is incredibly aesthetic and has comfortable chairs. We will be returning! Very very reasonably priced too. While it isn’t fully open so there is only a partial menu, the food they have is good and there are gluten free vegan and dairy free options! The salt and paper chicken is GF and dairy free and delicious. Same with the Pakora! The drinks were very creative and yummy too. Excellent find in Mt. Vernon and open on SUNDAYS + MONDAYS! Excellent bar — Max mixed great cocktails and had some off-menu suggestions that were very tasty!
Kitchen was quick and the food was really remarkable! Salt and Pepper Chicken and the Gruyère Beignets are absolute musts for the table!

Fantastic restaurant, service, and atmosphere. One of the more unique (and REASONABLE) menus in Baltimore. Highly recommend the Salt+Pepper chicken appetizer, Gruyère Beignets, and Katsu Chicken curry. The Mary Pinkford and Naked&Famous cocktails were wonderful. Enjoy!
