Enjoyed cocktails & dinner Sat night between 6-7:15 pm before heading to the Center Stage theater to see Mexodus. Our waitress was delightful and made great meal suggestions upon request. The atmosphere was lively and my “Lexington market” crab cakes, salmon & shrimp salad hit the spot. Always nice to find another good downtown restaurant option.
We hosted Welcome Drinks for our wedding here last June and were very happy with our choice! Daniel was very responsive and answered my many questions. We were able to set up an event perfect for our guests. We liked that our guests could mingle between the library and the bar. Our bartenders were great as well. We would recommend Poets to anyone looking to host an event in the Mt Vernon area! Thank you again!

I stopped in for a quick breakfast and to my delight this crab Benedict did not disappoint! As you can see lump crab was plentiful & the flavor brought it home! I paid only $20 for this yummy goodness. You definitely need to go get you some. I recommend highly!
