Service behind counter weekend of Italian Festival great; wait staff ok but nice enough, mostly lacking basic people skills that management should've taught. Not the wait staff's fault. The affogato and mini cannoli were sinfully good. Worth a drive into the city from the burbs. When's the last time anyone could say that about a place in Baltimore?

Never understood why they close at 9pm most nights, here it's Friday night and they're already closed just when I'm ready for a late night treat...

The cream puff had no flavor except that I could tell it had been frozen for a long time and then thawed to serve. It tasted like a freezer. Same with the chocolate filled cookie. The blue raspberry shave ice tasted like frozen sugar water with no flavor, while the latte tasted extremely strong, as though it had many (very bitter) shots in it. We were excited to eat at a cute pastry shop but were very disappointed :(

Historic little pastry shop that packs a powerful punch of flavor behind all of their desserts.

The gelato doesn’t taste like gelato and it was just to sweet and the water was not that good.
The Italian ice was way too sweet. Tastes like straight up sugar with a drop of fruit. The gelato doesn’t even taste like gelato just simple regular ice cream. Overrated
Great service and great desserts

We were in town visiting Baltimore for the weekend so we decided to try this place out. Our group of 4 came in and ordered at the front behind everyone else. We all got paninis coffees and pastries. We went to go sit down in their empty seating area and were told it was for table service only. So instead of sitting in their empty seating area we had to eat in our car. Very confusing setup. As for the food, the panini was fine (they were out of ham so I got the bacon breakfast panini) but I didn't feel like it was anything better than what I could've made at home. Pretty big portion and they did forget to charge me for my cookie so that was cool.

Everything about this place was amazing.
My favorite cookies and cannolis. Always worth a stop. When I lived in the area, I'd have lunch there as well.
The worst gelato I've ever had. The service was poor as well. I'm sorry to leave such a negative review, but we had a very disappointing experience. The coffee tasted terrible too. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Amazing as always. Huge fresh cannolis. Amazing gelato.
