My husband and I have been here at least a dozen times, have taken other friends as well. We are always greeted and told about the 20% being included in each drink order and we’re fine with that because the mixologists are fabulous, the atmosphere is wonderful and we will continue to patronize this wonderful establishment and support the city of Baltimore and a small business in the process.

Shady business practices. They charged a “service fee “ automatically to our bar bill. It was so dark in there, we had to use flashlights to even see our menus. Only when I got home, did I discover this extra fee added to our bill (with a tip line underneath of it). I ended up giving a 40% tip because the bill was unreadable. Sounds like they are into tricking their customers. We won’t be back.

Although the small size can lead to crowding and slower service at times, the unique charm of W.C. HARLAN makes it a treasured gem.
