“One of our favorite spots on the Harford food and bev rotation. Charming, intimate atmosphere, with lower light and a quiet vibe great for relaxing with amazing food, sipping a good beverage (wine, saki and beer) and enjoying some down time. Have been going for a lot of years and think they are consistently elevating their game. Sushi is top quality with lots of choices, two of our favorites are the Monster Roll and Snow Maki. So many great dishes over the years and one of our new favorite is the Seafood Fried Rice. This version is different from every other version I've had, and much better! It seems more steamed and sticky compared to the usual hard and oily versions. I cannot get enough of this new favorite of ours. Staff super-friendly and very polite, and the sushi guys are hard working to plate some amazing fresh rolls. ALWAYS enjoy our visits! Thank you Kiyomi!“
“The Bento Sushi concession inside ShopRite at Festival Shopping Center provides a good opportunity for a grab and go meal as one finishes up grocery shopping. If it were not for Google Maps, I would not have known the place existed. Inside the store, the small refrigerated section lacks signage and is packed between two other ready to eat meal options. Once found, Bento offered nicely presented options at a good price. I was happy to see the bright green seaweed salad, one of my favorites. I also bought pork Gyoza (dumplings) that were five in a packet and quite flavorful. There were several vegetable options for sushi, including the two kinds of California Roll and four different shrimp rolls. I got the shrimp tempura crunch and the spicy shrimp. everything was packed with condiments, including soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi. The flavors were good, though the rice itself had toughened a little due to the refrigeration. I noted that a sesame chicken dish was also available. While Bento does not substitute for a freshly made role in a sit-down restaurant, it works well as a time saver.“
“Food was good, just the right amount for a lunch special. Taste was good.Service was not very good. The waiter seemed upset. Dropped everything on the table. Didn't spill anything but definitely wasn't happy.Restaurant was clean and spacious. Don't like the hostess wanted everyone in the same area on top of everyone else. I don't like that, I like room and ability to talk without neighbors.“
“I rarely leave reviews, but I felt an overwhelming urge to express how truly exceptional my first experience was here with my friends. Despite our rather loud group, the servers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The selection of food offered was also superb :))) What impressed me the most was the level of customization available. The salmon bowl I ordered was exceptionally fresh and delicious, and the homemade sauce was simply fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; I'd give it a 100% rating and will definitely be returning again! Can't wait to try more of their menu offerings!!“
“Took my son here when husband was in the hospital and we needed a dinner break. My son loves Asian food and he said this was one of the best entrees he's had in our area! Service was good and dinner was quick. We highly recommend this restaurant. The Pad Thai was delicious!“
“WOW ! Just discovered THIS PLACE by accident ! VERY EXTENSIVE MENU ! There ARE a few tables but it is mostly a take out entity . If you decide to EAT IN there , bring your own eating utensils - the plasticware provided doesn't work well . THE FOOD HOWEVER IS GREAT . The only Chinese restaurant that STILL has CHOP SUEY ! Go check it out ! FIVE STARS for the food ? !“
“I think this is the best sushi spot in Bel Air 2024, now that I have gone to all of them. FOOD In appetizers, I tried the takoyaki, edamame, karaage, and ground chicken lettuce wrap things. They were all decent but nothing stood out nearly as well as the dinosaur eggs (which are not eggs, but a sushi thing), and so I strongly recommend those. Nice to see something unique and tasty! In terms of the other food, my friend gets various rolls and everything I have tried has been tasty. But I'm a big sashimi fan, especially as I can tell the quality of the fish after I've had it. And this is pretty good quality! That quality is a part of what sets this place apart from the other sushi spots in Bel Aid. SERVICE I've had the same woman serve us every time I went by coincidence, but she's always been very polite and well attentive without being pushy. Really liked her. AMBIANCE It's a casual and family friendly spot but also good for dates. There are booths that are decently well separated from other people so you do feel like you can get some hint of privacy here. Lighting and music were pleasant.“
“I have been going to the Orient restaurant in Towson since the 90's. I was hesitant to try this location because I didn't know if it would be as good. Everything was amazing! Just as good as I remembered and I was so impressed they were able to be so consistent for so long. We had the California rolls, sesame chicken, green beans and triple delight. Everything was delicious!!!“
“Definitely a good place for east Asian style food. It's not the spot to go if you like 'classic' Chinese-American food, as it doesn't have some of those classics like eggrolls, sweet and sour pork, or fortune cookies. So in exchange for a bit of a higher price than that kind of carryout place you get more variety, good portions and some very nice plating.“
“I love their food!! the lunch specials are a treat as well as their prompt and good customer service. There's never a lot of customerswhen im there for lunch, but the takeout call-ins orders are busy. I found out a few visits ago. This Orient restaurant is the same restaurant that was located in Towson for decades. I've frequent them for 25 years. Between their lease and the pandemic, it caused them to relocate location. What I can say is that those who dont know. They have a gem to discover.“
“I was able to tell exactly which rolls were which. 3 combined together and unlabeled. All were pretty good but somewhat more expensive than used to.Ordered: Sunshine roll, Tiger roll, Crunchy spicy tuna roll (1 container)Pink lady roll - looks crazy but very very good. Mango was fresh and refreshing. Compliments the shrimp“
“Absolutely amazing! The Thai chili Edamame was incredible and would come back just for that! We got the Empire, Angel, Sunset and Amazing roll, all were so good but the amazing roll really lives up to the name! Can’t wait to come back, service was great and the food came out so fast, this is the best sushi you will find in all of Harford and Baltimore county!“
