Today Tzvi, Miriam, and Sue taught my fiancé and I as well as a dozen other young professionals in the DC region to make our own sushi. Totally recommend!“

“Found this cozy sushi spot while passing through town on a business trip in MD and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Really glad I did. The layout is simple and efficient, and everything just feels well run.

The manager was super friendly, and the staff all seemed genuinely happy—no grumpy faces at all. That’s always a good sign, and it definitely felt like the food was in good hands.

I also liked that they have a fountain drink machine right in the lobby. The restaurant is in a plaza with plenty of parking, which is a huge plus when you’re traveling for work. Solid experience overall and I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.“

“The Rose Strawberry milk cap cake is to DIE for. Absolutely delicious. Ramen was incredible and get a great amount for the cost. The dream of Sakura was amazing. The dragon roll was something that my taste buds couldn't describe, it was amazing.

“The freshest sushi in the area. Their bass, salmon, yellowtail, and amaebi nigiri are my favorites. The pieces of fish are big, and the bed of rice is warm and well cooked/seasoned. They also offer to make their rolls with brown rice, which can be difficult to find. The server is attentive and the seating area is nice, although it's small, so I'd recommend coming before dinner when it is less crowded.“

My daughter is a chef, so she is very particular when it comes to the taste and appearance of food, and SHE is the one who recommended this place to me. That alone said a lot to me. The atmosphere was great, very calm and quiet. The serving staff seemed a little stiff, but it didn't bother me too much because my daughter and I both like being left alone while I eat. They also gave each of us a small complimentary slice of cake when they brought the check.“

“Went here for lunch with my wife. She doesn't like sushi, but they had plenty of different options for her. They have a great lunch combo of picking two sushi rolls (standard options like California roll, Philadelphia roll, spicy tuna, etc.)and a side of miso soup or salad. My wife's dish was delicious and full of flavor, my sushi was well crafted and tasty, and the miso soup was your average miso soup, nothing special, but helped to make the lunch combo very filling for around $15. Atmosphere is nice and quiet, while the service was quick and helpful. Looking forward to going back with fellow sushi lovers to try one of their larger platters. I recommend you try this place out whether you're a sushi lover, or just like good food!“

The outside ia complete trash. Such an ugly building. Like for real. Invest in an exterior refresh.

So I popped out the car to do a quick walk-in check cause the exterior of the building really looks like a prop from the Walking Dead.

However, inside is a completely different story. And even the bathroom was super clean.

Also, order the duck noodles. Or anything with duck. Not only is it delicious, you gwt a lot. Will definitely be back.“

“I love their salmon sushi rolls and salmon nigiri. It’s always fresh (they make it every day) and delicious. It’s even good without soy sauce. They are in Whole Foods and it’s made ready to go, but I had the chance to meet the people that prepare it and they were very sweet. Definitely worth the money and it’s very convenient. I get it 2-3 times a month. This is not comparable at all to regular grocery chain sushi where they leave it sitting out for 4+ days and it’s stiff. They are on a whole different level and to me, it’s restaurant quality.“

“Really great food for a hospital cafe, and shockingly very fairly priced. Loved the salmon poke bowl especially, the salmon nigiri and the ramen gives quite a bit of pork for only ~10$. I was so happy to eat here every day after giving birth in the hospital instead of having to subsist off of hospital food.“
