“Just did the cupcake monster decorating class at the Waldorf location and they were so sweet. My daughter asked for mermaid decorations and Chef Tai put some chocolate into a mold and into the freezer on the fly. She also did bats and ghosts on request, it was so, so sweet. Kids (4 and 3) loved it, and super tasty, too! Will definitely be back!“

“Cakes Plus provided a wonderful cake for my son's wedding several years ago, so my son recommended the bakery when I wanted to purchase a cake for my grandson's 30th birthday. I knew the words I wanted written on the cake, but didn't have a design in mind. Many, many thanks to Hannah for her patience and for helping me nail the perfect design!! Everyone loved the vanilla sheet cake. (See picture.) It was beautiful and delicious. Then, when I went to pickup the vanilla sheet cake, on a whim, I decided to also purchase a smaller, off the shelf, lemon cake with a balloon design. People who tried both cakes at the birthday events said both were amazing, but they loved the taste of the lemon cake more than the vanilla. I wish we weren't limited to rating this bakery 5 stars! Lol!!“

I reached out to her because we were doing a corporate event and I needed a very specific theme. She heard what I was looking for and assured me that she would handle it! All the way down to the colors, she really hooked up our dessert table and everyone at our event was SO impressed and happy. I would definitely book again and recommend her for your events!“

Be sure to ask if there are any savory offerings in the back - I recently had a terrific mushroom and spinach tart that convinces me that I should just buy whatever savory offering is on deck.I can't wait till afternoon tea service is available. “There are 2 locations and the original has sweet people working, even on hectic days they keep a good attitude.
I love getting their sweet breads, tamales pan frances and of course cakes for special occasions.
Today is my son's birthday so we went for the chocolate flavored cake that has fruit on top and since it had cherries his favorite that's the one for today.
My family have been enjoying their treats for over 15 years and as long as their still around that's our number one choice.
2nd location is nearer to my house and I finally tried their food. I will say those pupusas were the best I've had since the motherland.
Macaroni salad and carne guisado is heavenly. Now those are my taste buds but I do recommend you go.

“Seems like everyone stopped reviewing after the pandemic. I’m guilty of that too. Ate here without looking at the reviews. I had the fillet of fish in a spicy sauce, my wife had the grilled fillet. Both exceptional. Cocktails good too. Staff member Ricardo was attentive and funny. Great sunset spot, would recommend.“

“Took a chance on this place with the mixed reviews. I had none of the problems listed. No teenagers behind the counter, just really nice professional guys who gave us a bigger size free and a free topping. Also another customer had a little kid who dropped their whole ice cream and he gave them a new one for free.“
